For the longest time, I believed I was the most atypical Aries around. Laid back and mellow. I can say I am a hyper Aries - even through my introverted self. Easily excitable and with a don't tread on me attitude.

I even see the negative Aries temper but if channelled correctly I can use it constructively - if I choose to keep myself busy.

They say a person's sun sign doesn't come out till they are 40........I think they are on the mark with this......

I think you're probably just being amped up by pluto and uranus hitting your sun.

Oh, well then, thank you, ahhahhahaha. I think I've been a square, squaring around my home all day. My moon/Asc: Capricorn and Virgo.

I have another two years, maybe three, till things really start to hit. I'm going for extremely tight orbs.........till it hits 2 off and voila.

Though the Natal Uranus Transitting Pluto aspect gets me wondering........

I'm 3 degrees away from a Uranus half return.........Maybe that is shaking things up.......activating the T square.

In studying things further, Uranus is sitting right on top of my natal Pallas and Natal Chiron. Pallas is at 7 and Chiron is at 9. Transitting Uranus is at 8 Aries.

Very Cancerian, when I was growing up. Moon in Cancer in the 2nd. Then I started being a practical by the book person.

If uranus is 3 off you're around 11 or 12 aries and it's in orb. The orb is five degrees. All twelve-ers of the cardinals are getting slammed.

You have two or three years until it's exact.

Hmm, I wouldn't necessarily say at the age of 40. I think it's more so that when a person reaches self-acceptance, a real inner self-confidence, and learns how to find their own happiness, then the Sun starts coming through. That could be at age 20, 30, or 40 or anything in between.

We simply develop and mature into our Sun sign. Some people may take longer to do that than others. Some people are attuned to their Sun sign from young adulthood. So, it all depends.

I've always strongly identified with my Leo Sun (even though my Scorpio traits are very strong too). It was a source of pride for me, even before I knew about the complexities of astrology and birth charts. I've noticed that Leo Suns tend to express their Sun sign more easily than others. I guess it's because it's the most 'natural' position for the Sun and we were born to embody it. There's always something about a Leo Sun that's very typical of the sign.

My Sun is Capricorn, and to be honest I’ve always felt like a Cap in terms of personality. Although I do have yet to have a flourishing career (it‘s about average at this point)…. Perhaps that part of the Capricorn experience will come later in life. Capricorns are supposed to become less Saturnine with age, though, and I’m hoping this is the case for me… I was very shy and reserved, and kind of uptight, as a little girl, and my personal strength has definitely grown since then, and continues to grow. Ironically, my Moon is in Cancer, and my Asc is Sag… which I also feel strongly. I’ve got this sensitive inner core, covered by a steely determination, and a sometimes bubbly, silly demeanor.

But, yeah, for some people is does take a while to grow into your Sun sign personality…. And yet others seem to have it deeply ingrained in themselves from birth. I guess it depends on where we are as individuals in our personal development, and what lessons we need to grasp.

Me, too. It's been building over the past few years. Uranus/Pluto is hitting my t-square, creating a grand cross; uranus is on my jupiter, opposing pluto and square saturn, with tr. pluto aspecting all of it. Saturn is also opposing my ceres./chiron/sun.

I read somewhere the greater the degree of the planet the more older it is. So lets says sun is in 29 degrees, its really old. Where is you're moon sign? The moon is extremely important when it comes to your personality.

--I have a Cancer moon and Sag asc too, and I've experienced those placements like you described.

I also agree with you that I've always felt like my sun; I personally am not into "progressions". Looking back on my childhood, I can definitely see my personal planets all over the place: Cancer moon sensitivity. Sag ASC mix of sage and jester. Libra indecision, love of talking/words, love of books, love of beauty. Venus in Scorpio dramatics in relationships to others (and even with the stories that I'd play with my dolls). I'm just more able to recognize it now, since I didn't start learning about astrology seriously until I was roughly 15-16.

I know you directed this to someone else, but it made me laugh. (My sun is 24*Aries.)

So you have it now and uranus conjunct. Both will rx, pluto will be just out of orb or just in orb depending exactly what degree it goes back to -- I remember 6 cap but not minutes. Uranus will rx out of orb for a bit.

Then pluto will be in orb and very close for awhile. You're now getting a taste of what to expect when it's exact.

Uranus will be back too, but I can't remember how long it will be at that degree +/- 5 degrees.

Oh really? I didn't know you were cardinal dominant at all. Are you feeling it at all yet or is it too far off?

I'm pretty heavy cardinal in progressed right now, but not natal.
