Topic: Ellie Goulding ASC?

In the past few weeks I've been repeatedly told that I look like Ellie Goulding. I didn't know what she looked like, so I googled her, we vaguely look a like. I'm really flattered because she is really attractive. It might just be the hair, we have the same hair. Either way what do you think her ASC is? I'm guessing a fire ASC. Which would make sense why we resemble each other, plus she is a Cap Sun and I have Saturn in the 1st H.   ^^^

I can def. see the Cap in her, in that nose! They all have a distinct brow &/or nose. Otherwise I would say she has Leo or Gemini ASC.IP: Logged |

I find most Cap influenced people have very...leading noses. They're not big but they're apparent and pointy, strong. It's a business kind of nose. And their brow is usually thick and overshadows their eyes. It's their eyebrows yeah, but it's more apparent in Caps. IP: Logged |

Never researched it, but Taurus gives good command and strength.

1)
me libra pluto angular trine Sun H8, her libra sun conj pluto
me pisces sun, her pisces moon
my leo asc conj her leo mars (I know other people disagree but I see Mars come up in appearance, often)
me libra mars, her libra sun & venus (venus is conj my mars)
both have venus/pluto
= so we end up vibing on pisces/leo/and prominent libra (pluto) in the chart
2)
me merc angular, her gem asc
me leo asc, her leo sun
me pisces sun, her moon opp neptune/sun sq neptune
both have libra mars
= no pluto here but the same pisces(neptune)/leo/libra emphasis so with the mars addition,
you pisces moon, her pisces mars

I found this through studying facial similarities using the facial recognition software from MyHeritage.com, alongside available charts from Astrodatabank, and if the chart wasn't available I discounted ASC and sometimes the Moon (depending on how centered it was in the chart at noon) so pretty much stumbled upon it. And it turns out that it's not as simple as 'ASC in same sign', there is a build up of factors, as I gave example with the 2 people I'm most thought to look similar to. And I think it's important to note, that our appearance changes, we sometimes look more toned down, and subdued, sometimes more alive. I have strong Cap, but those 2 ladies don't (not even close). I can only assume that when I have been mistaken for them, that I accentuated the Pisces/Leo/Libra 'look' and not Cap, since I myself don't see the similarity, but others do with regularity. *Or* since my Sun is also my ASC ruler, that might make it more strongly related to my appearance and there's nothing I can do about it. I was of course thinking the ASC would play a role, and it does, and the Sun, and it does, but those were my only preconceptions, I was open to anything else. If I had to make an association, then Mars rules the body in general, the head specifically. F.e., people sometimes forget that Aries can be really striking (v.attractive) in their faces, Mars rulership. They usually just remember the token scar on the head, or maybe acne, or a tendency to blush. Also Mars is of course related to violence/accident, in practice at time of death t.Mars is 98% of the time a major player setting off a difficult config, all this effects the body. So the thinking that Mars in the natal has no bearing on its appearance, is not convincing to me since (in my research, and I've done a lot of research on death) Mars is the vehicle that allows us to be mobile and that can be changed at will (consciously or unconsciously) if we're not careful. Saturn impairs right, Mars/Saturn is classic indicator for prison, the body cannot move around as it would like, also a marker for death, also a marker for physical impairment, also a marker for impotence, etc.I remember also reading something from Donna Cunningham, she made mention of Venus to the outer planets relating to appearance, I have found this too. I've also found Mars to the outer planets with same (for ex, among other factors, 2 men with Mars strongly tied to Uranus will have a certain look, and this will enhance the similarity). Maybe you've seen what she wrote? if not,

She was supposed to post on Venus/Neptune but never got around to it. So some people have branched out beyond ASC/Sun. But ASC still strongly rules the body in a natal, v.personal since it's the cusp of the 1st. Ah interesting, Lonake. Do you mind if I ask you who these celebs are that you resemble? So in my case I must be accentuating the Sag/Pisces vibe more than usual? When I first looked up Ellie I didn't see the resemblence, but its hard to tell because she is wearing a lot of make up in her photos. The pics I found where she was wearing less there seemed to be the most resemblance between the eyes, cheek bones and hair, her lips are more fuller than mine. Her lips actually remind me of Elvis another Cappy/Sag combo. But the links to Donna Cunningham's site are great I read up on Venus-Saturn aspects and it rang so true to me. IP: Logged |
