Our moon is our most barest self. It's the person you get to know when you've been friends for years and/or are comfortable around. My mom has Libra moon and I have a Taurus moon, and she drives me insane. Aside from my Moon opp. Pluto, I started remembering a lot of people commenting on how Libra/Taurus often doesn't get along even though they're ruled by the same planet.

I, myself, have thought it's because of that and they're competition over owning the entirety of Venus. In any case, as a Taurus moon I always feel like Libra (in general, not just other Libra moons) are purposely getting into my business even though I tell them no. They are pushy and stubborn (as I know I have these flaws in myself...but not towards Libra.). I was wondering if other Taurus influenced people felt this way, and also wondered why it's Taurus who feels invaded by Libra instead of Libra/Taurus or them feeling the same way about each other. Maybe they do?

Another theory I just had is this. Taurus is an earth sign and deals with the material. My mom gets mad when I use her stuff. I get mad when she disrupts my harmony. What's interesting is you'd think the Taurus moon would get mad about "stuff" and the Libra moon would get mad about "harmony." Why is it reversed?

Taurus types and Libra types CAN and DO get along!

I am a full-blown Taurus <chart here>. My wife's Asc = 0 Libra. We get along great and our relationship is built on honesty and friendship first.

For someone to drive you 'insane' indicates unresolved karma or at least issues in this lifetime that need resolving. It isn't the signs.

Also what you point out about your Moon opp Pluto is more relevant than sign comparisons.

Pushiness and stubbornness are not qualities of the cardinal air sign (Libra). You are describing some other factor in the charts, as well as reacting from a place of privacy or 'possession' consciousness, which the Libra sign/type does not share.

Your mother sounds as much Arian as Libran. The Aries type is normally very territorial (as is the Cancer type in a different way) and puts their stamp of identity on everything.

Aww... I always like hearing about successful relationships!

Sigh. Yes, we're both Aries...

My mom is always in my way. ALWAYS. She not only figurative opposes me, but literally as well.

It's more like Aries and Aries don't get along (same sex) because there's only One boss!

Libra moon can get irritated with Taurus moon due to the stubbornness. Cardinal wants things moving while fixed wants things their way!

You can also find Libra moon subversive and coercive which makes your Taurus moon dig its heels deeper!

a lot of interesting information from everyone here. When i first read the title - my first thought was: inconjunct.

I find that I CAN get along very well with people whose signs are inconjunct mine and/or whose personal planets are inconjunct. HOWEVER - typically, there is usually friction and misunderstandings if not just plain apathy if we aren't constructively pursuing/working on something together (like in for the greater good).

I put that last part in brackets because I experience inconjuncts with Virgos and Cancers - so it's either for the betterance of community or the betterance of the family. Make sense?

I have a taurus moon and my father has a libra moon. I don't get along with my father either. I can honestly say I do not like my father as a person, of course I care about him. I don't think libra does very well in the moon, I noticed he tries to keep "peace" in a very sneaky underhanded way. I just can't stand people like that. Taurus however is exalted in the moon, we crave for that peace/serenity. My dad takes advantage of the fact I want genuinely want our family to stay together. I really resent that. Also he's a bit of a con artist, that libra charm does wonders.

signs have different effects with different planets, I get along with libra suns. My sun is in gemini

I handle Libra suns a lot better than moons, and Leo moons a lot better than suns. And no, I don't think Libra does well in the moon either even if it is a feminine placement. Either way I'm able to pick up Libra's intentions intuitively, but the moon seems to give them a more underhanded vibe. It is a VERY stubborn placement too!!!

Libra moon has always come across to me as more 'socially concerned' than anything else.

Nothing matters more to them than friendships and company; even to the expense of their relationship.

Usually, they are well-liked; maybe because of the light-hearted nature and ability to get on and make strangers feel comfortable.

In the long run, however, the moon here can make the person seem fickle, underhanded and too easily influenced by public/friend opinions.

The Libra moons I've met are quite good-looking; especially if they have Pisces/Taurus as their sun-sign. But their looks tend to be more "boy/girl next door pretty" than stunning.

Taurus moons on the other hand tend to keep regularity ,in my opinion, even more so than their Sun-sign mates.

They don't like changing their routine and can be satisfied living in a predictable fashion; breakfast at 8, lunch at 2, dinner at five, gym at 6 etc(unless there are serious harsh aspects with the moon)

I think the clash between the two could be that Libra moons are always trying to extend their friendship circle; always friendly to new people and new company because it extends their "audience"-so to speak.

Taurus moon signs are more self-sufficient and can be obnoxious and rude when not really keen on company.

I actually believed, for a long time, that these two moon positions (followed closely by Gemini)guaranteed physical beauty.lol

Boy, was I wrong...
