What are some great astrological placements you have noticed? I mean long term friendships for decades. These two guys I know have been best friends for nearly a decade and I am trying to figure out the astrological side of it. I don't know either of their Ascendants. All I know is One has a Gemini sun, Taurus moon, Cancer mercury and Venus with a Capricorn Mars. While the other is a Aquarius sun, mercury, Venus, with Sagittarius moon and mars. IP: Logged |

I think in this case it would be (Gemini) Sun opposite (Saggie) Moon. This would be considered a complimentary opposite. I'm sure there are other aspects, probably involving Asc, Asc Ruler and Saturn but for now Sun opposite Moon is a nice inner aspect and promotes friendship. IP: Logged |

These two were born within the same year so they have the same Sagittarius Saturn. I asked friend who knows any other people their really close to one is girl with a Libra sun, moon, mercury with a Scorpio venus & mars, and a Virgo saturn. But she does have a Taurus asc and is closer to the Aquarius sun than the Gemini sun. The last friend in the mix is a Gemini Sun, Mercury, with taurus Moon, Cancer venus, Capricorn mars, Sagittarius Saturn. He's closer to the two men.For some reason the Aquarius Sun and Gemini sun with Taurus moon look alike. Maybe they have a Taurus asc, Scorpio asc or Cancer asc that balances out the friendship with the Gemini Suns with the Taurus Moon. IP: Logged |

For Friendships I would look at the 11th house(rules groups, clubs and associations). The ruler of my 11th house(Pisces) is Neptune. Neptune is found in my 8th house. I have few friends and associates and prefer having a few close friends than knowing a lot of people(8th). But I have noticed that a lot of the people I feel most close to have their personal planet(moon esp) in Pisces, friendship can easily happen. IP: Logged |

I pulled up my long term friend's chart, 9 years(on/off because of my tendency to run). This is what we have - My snode conj her sun. Her nnode conj my sun/mars.I help her complete a grand trine - her mars/m0on in leo trine her venus in aries. They trine my Sun/mars in sag. She challenges my lazy planets with a t-sq. My mars sq my m0on. Her gem merc opp my sag mars and sq my virgo m0on. We've another t-square = my saturn opp her m0on/mars. They together square my pluto. Her gem sun opp my sag sun/merc/venus. I've an air singleton(saturn). She has 1 planet in aqua, 2 in gem, 1 in libra. She has a water singleton(pluto). I've a 10h water pluto and an unaspected 9h water jupiter. My saturn sq her pluto. Her asc - unknown. She looks quite cancerian or maybe leo with a 1h mars and m0on(most likely of all). None of her planets aspect my jupiter which is natally unaspected and conj my sun/moon midpt. Contrarily, my other long term contacts have planets c0nj/opp/sq my jupe. M0reover, their ascs are in either fire or air signs. Mine's in aqua sq jupe. Things would make m0re sense if her's fell in leo, opp mine. IP: Logged |

I consider him my best friend, even though I'm quite reevaluating the relationship right now.. We've known each other for 10 years, used to always be together but now we see each other very rarely. We try to keep in touch but I guess overall what makes me still consider him my best friend is that he still remains the one person I go to confide and he know me the best.aspects : his saturn conjunct my sun exact - my saturn trines his sun (1°) his moon sextiles my moon and mercury conjunction his moon trines my ascendant (exact) my venus conjunct his ascendant (2° orb) his venus squares my ascendant and my moon-mercury conjunction. his sun squares my vertex my mars squares his vertex and my sun trines his vertex our vertex square each other. house overlay: my sun in his 11th house my moon merury and venus in his 12th house his sun in my 3rd house his venus and merury in my 4th house his moon in my 5th house IP: Logged |

I find that most of my friends in my friends group have 9th house Suns like myself or other Sag placements (I have Jupiter in the 11th). My best friend(s) over the years also have a lot of 5th house action going on in synastry.IP: Logged |

I have sun/sun conjunction with my one best friend and moon/sun conjunction with my other best friend. I remember the minute I met these guys we had like strong instant connection. I met my sun/sun conjunction friend in the 8th grade we were so awkward and goofy then. Its amazing how much we changed together IP: Logged |
