I have heard on this forum that Capricorn and Scorpio are the WORST positions for the moon. Well what if you have a Scorpio moon in the 10 house? How does the house affect the moon?

I have my moon exalted in taurus 10th house, and honestly it really depends on the aspects. I have square saturn and moon opp pluto. I can be pretty icy similar to a capricorn moon. My moon trines jupiter neptune and uranus so I think its its not completely horrible.

Also I have a lot of friends with scorpio moon and my mom has scorpio moon. I think scorpio is my favorite position for the moon. These people are usually very loyal and give you tough love, when you need it. These people know all my deepest darkest secrets

10th house represents your career/public image. You could fluctuate with different jobs, I cant keep a steady job. Similar to the phases of the moon. Although I'm only in college. You can find tons of sources online.

Yes agree , My best friend has scorpio moon . She is the best person I 've ever met . She doesn't have any taboo emotion or possessive behavior like scorpio at all. She is simply pick the possitive site of this moon sign. Actually ,it's one of the best moon ,who can understand the depth of any situation and compassion too. But it is water moon ,can be very fluctuate.

I have cancer moon(domicile) in my10th house , square my saturn, and Sun . So , well there's some tension there , not easy at all. Compare with my friends' scorpio moon(conj. mars there).

I have Leo moon in 12th house. That makes me very emotional, yet not showing my emotions outwards normally...

Oh, love this topic since my Moon is in it's natural place, Cancer. It's in the 3rd. Aside from interpretations out there, it's like having my emotions constantly in my throat, if that makes sense. As if the 3rd House of Communication leaves me always having that need to communicate or work through my emotions verbally.

I suppose my Mercury in Scorpio may contribute to the hesitancy.

The worst feeling even since very young, was wanting to say something but it never getting past my throat, causing the most uncomfortable sense of regret possible!

For many years I've learned to not hold so much back. Now I'll occasionally feel I'm talking too much & at times I yearn for those quieter withholdings of verbage, as long as there's none of the painful regret feelings.

LovelyKitty -

I'm feeling you on those Moon/Saturn tensions. I have Moon in Cancer in the 3rd Opposite Saturn in Capricorn in the 9th. The Planets, Signs & even Houses are in Opposition! Super challenging.

A recent 'talk' with my Pisces-Moon in 12th house friend about me not liking dogs (his dog?), I'm mainly afraid of the bigger type.. simple is that.
Me: Scorp-Moon 3rd (square Mars/NN)

He: You don't give it a chance.
Me: Huh? What do you mean? What?
He: Let it.
Me: But what do you mean?? You think it's just a matter of pushing a button in my brain? Or what?
He Le-e-t it!
Me: No I don't understand, why did you say it.. I want to know.. I want to know what's behind it...
He: There's nothing behind it and I didn't mean anything BAD..
Me: No, I'm not thinking in bad/good right now.. just want to KNOW! You did mean SOmeThInG..
He: Aii this makes me ****** .. it really annoys me if you go on and on and on.. while I didn't mean a thing with it!
Me: OMG...
He: Oh MY..!!>>> what a future we will have ahead of us! I see it all raining with words words words..
Me: That's exactly what I'm thinking now (really dissapointed)
He: Gosh.. What a future!!
Me: Yeah what a future ahead!! An endless word fight! (thinking: He does not fit me - nor my word passion! maybe it's better to quit before things will get worse.. maybe he's ready with me now??)
He: What are you thinking?
Me: Feel bad.. (all energy left)
He: But I still love you as much as I did before.. I would do everything for you, EVERYTHING.
Me: Yea? Hm.. well okay.. but you know I just wanted to know WHY ..

(aiii it almost started all over again.. )

Since Scorpio and Cap moons keep getting mentioned:

Scorpio moons can intimidate. However, those people (assuming they are healthy, evolved, good types of the moon position) are great. I feel safe with them (I have a Cancer moon). They're more sensitive than they admit and have a beautiful softer side. They're capable of great things.

My favorite moon sign is Pisces.

Capricorn moon, on the other hand...I love Capricorn suns, but I have problems with non-sun Cap placements sometimes (though not always; there are some Cap-heavy people that I really like a lot). The main issues that I've run into with Cap placement people (non-sun sign Caps) who give me difficulty is that they can be very cold, afraid of emotions, will not communicate, standoffish, unresponsive, anti-social, and some think that they are better than other people (stuck up) or like you aren't worth their time. That is upsetting to me.

However, I have not had this problem with the suns--and, again, I don't have this problem with every person who has Cap placements; the above has been my experience with those with whom I have had issues.

Cap suns, I get along with just fine. I myself have two Cap planets.

This is, imo, pretty accurate. I have Cap Moon in the 10th, and it has been both good and bad. For career it is awesome - I am top in my field and have always been very well-off financially and motivated in career, etc. But, the Cap Moon has been pretty bad for my love life and it wasn't until adulthood (late 20s) that I really started to focus on relationships. I have heard myself described as all of the abovementioned items and, although it is outwardly accurate, inside that is not how a Cap Moon feels. We are very sensitive and easily hurt and it is that really deep sensitivity that leads us to be closed emotionally from the outside. But, I am a very loving partner/friend/relative and people who know me get to see that all the time. It's the people who don't know a Cap Moon that see those outward/untrue traits.

I've tried to be friends with Cap moons, but it just never works out.

I have a Cancer moon, so that would make them oppositional (at least the signs; may not be that way in aspects).

The thing is, I've often seen the good in the Cap moons (and Venuses, and ASCs), but even seeing the good didn't change their behavior. I've tried being nice to them, but they are just that way no matter what. At this point, I've given up completely on a few of them. I saw the good in them, and tried to be friendly and reach out to them, and they still treated me coldly and unkindly, which I do not appreciate and which I find unacceptable. I hate avoidance, coldness, and unresponsiveness: I don't like how it makes me feel (anxious, depressed, self-conscious, worthless). I don't want to be around people who make me feel like that and who treat me that way.

It frustrates me that any time I try to talk to any of them, they seem to get annoyed. Even my mom does that (she has Cap ASC and Venus).

I think that the most hurtful thing, though, is acting like you aren't good enough to deserve their time or attention--like you are absolutely worthless, have no value, and since you aren't "useful" or "practical", you're just junk--that's how some (not all) Cap moons, ASCs, and Venuses have made me feel. That hurts even more so than the standoffishness and the failure to be responsive.

That said, though, there are some Cap moon/other non-sun Cap placement people that I do like. Even some people here on LL with those placements seem pretty cool.
