Topic: Venus square Uranus DOUBLE WHAMMY HELL

So I have a (gay) friend who hooked up with a former high school acquaintance while recently visiting his home city. It should be noted that everything started about 3 weeks ago during the Venus retrograde which isn't exactly a fortuitous time to start things. Things progressed very quickly between them and they were hot and heavy for a week and a half, hooked up and now things have cooled tremendously since then (it has only been a week since things cooled off). My friend's Venus is EXACTLY square to the guy's Uranus but also the guy's Venus is square to his Uranus by a relatively wide orb of 6 degrees (figured I could count it since it is a double whammy). My friend perceives this guy as having distanced himself since hooking up although they have been in contact (just not nearly as much as before). Plus my friend is pretty proud so he kind of plays things cool; I almost wonder if the guy finds my friend to be detached as well. So I have a few questions, do you think this double whammy aspect will preclude anything serious developing between them (since Venus-Uranus aspects are tenuous at best even if just one aspect is involved let alone two) coupled with the situation starting during Venus RX? Or could this just mean that anything that may develop will be unconventional, it would be because they live on opposite coasts of the US. Finally what advice to those who have dealt with this particular aspect would you give to ensure more stability coming from the Uranus person? Should he the Venus person come on stronger with Venusian ways or take a cue from Uranus and be a bit more detached? Thanks in advance for any help  IP: Logged |

My guess is that it can't work, but that would be a guess, not a doctrine  ------------------

I have my wife's Venus (3rd in Virgo) exact Conjunct my Uranus (7th in Virgo). I have my Venus (12th in Aquarius) Square my wife's Uranus (4th in Virgo) be less than half degree.OK It's not a double whammy Square. But it's not that big a problem, it never always manifests as a problem, and it can work well. IP: Logged |

The conjunction would be different imho. So, you have a square in one direction. That is interesting YOU have a super soul mate synastry, though, so this one square could add spice and I bet it does. Get out the Viagra now

Did you guys used to be on and off or feel hot and cold? Do you guys ahve to be away from each other due to work? Any affairs or old lovers that either crushes for? How long have you been married? Also congrats on keeping it together with that aspect.

We've been happily 19 years and have four children. There was no off and on. It was all on from the get go and its still on. We agreed to get married in 28 days. We got married in less than three months. We both like our ex-es.. very much... and we are both friends with each other's ex-es. My ex is the Godmother of my two sons, who ride her horses. There are no affairs or lovers. We both have no time for that nonsense. And she is highly sexed... so I have no energy nor inclination for anyone else either. I can hardly keep up with my wife as it is. I work long and hard, and go home after work. So, yes, I'm away from home during the week and get home late. I had my moon trine her Uranus. And her Sun square my uranus. Attraction was strong and stimulating. Detached emotion is a stretch, but somehow the relationship was never stable. When all things didn't go well, I thought I was over her, but one day I find myself longing for her. Something like that. Usually, for me, when a relationship is over, it's over.
