Saraintheski i think because both of you having the pisces AC is what toned down the scorpy vibes and getting you classified as cute, otherwise scopy/plutonian people do have that smoldering look when associated with a masculine AC.

Wow... this is exactly what I'm realizing about my supposed "best friend" of 8 years. I don't know where it started, but she does that to me all the time. Puts me in situations she knows I'll fail in or screw up because of my own undoing. She pretends to have innocent intentions and is damn good at being "oblivious." It's so sad to me because she's so insecure. She's a great friend but not being able to be honest or straightforward with someone who's been there for you thick and thin for 8 years? C'mon.

Scorpio is like all signs in that it has positive and negative ways of manifesting. Though I suppose if I was going to give the "good friend and terrible enemy" description to anyone it would be a Scorpio.

There have been 3 Scorpios I was particularly close to, and I considered one to have rare integrity and honor. We clashed at times, and she kept enough secrets to prevent us from getting close, but I'm very glad to have had her in my life and I fully trust her.

I can't recall any Scorpios offhand that I truly despised, though my mom at times comes close, and your description of Scorpio fits her perfectly.

Though one person I really disliked was someone with the majority of her planets in Scorpio (and I think it was her ascendant as well), though she was actually a Libra. She fit the negative portrayal you gave and was vengeful (way out of proportion, too, AND once she held a grudge she NEVER let it go) but her Libra sun had the effect of making her 2 faced about it as she really wanted to be liked and to be fair (or at least thought of as fair). I came to call her the "amnesiac" because she constantly rewrote history, denied bad behaviors she admitted to before, claimed to never say things that she did (and even worse claimed others said things that they never did), and the like to the point that I resolved to not talk to her anymore without a digital voice recorder, and then thought if I ever exposed her lies she'd hold a grudge against me and seek vengeance (while denying that she wanted to hurt me) and decided it wasn't worth it and cut her out of my life completely (and I feared I might kill her if I didn't, a feeling very few people have inspired in me).

Scorpios, for me, are the "heaven or hell" sign. There is almost never purgatory with them. I've known both the good ones and the bad ones. The good ones are resilient, courageous, highly loyal, have integrity, and use their passion and intensity for good purposes, even sacrificing themselves sometimes. A good Scorpio would be the type to lay down his/her life for someone. The bad ones, on the other hand, are very highly toxic and best avoided. I would never advise getting even or trying to with a Scorpio. If things don't work out, quietly and gradually float away. Scorpios never just get even. They win, and are willing to take themselves out (figuratively, and sometimes even literally in extreme cases) in order to do that. They are the sign that will "go there", if they are unevolved. On the other hand, though, the good ones--the eagles--will also be the ones to "go there", only in a positive direction. (Linda Goodman, I think, used the example of a firefighter who gives his life to save others, and, if I remember right, a surgeon who saves lives).

My mom has scorp in sun/moon/venus and she is needy and controlling and never forgets ANYTHING!! She is also from Generation Tough Love.....and with a flighty Gemini in Sun/Moon/Merc as a Dad, my Cancerian self, shall we say, developed a very thick shell..

Have also dated to Scorp mooners. Both very intelligent and sexually (can I say that word here?) extremely open minded. But they play mind games.
