Hello All, I just landed a new job. It is in a another city about an hour away from where I currently live. This job will be much better benefits & pay than the job I currently have. The thing is, the date I start my new job will be during the upcoming Mercury Rx. This would also include a move to a new apartment & city as well. I know in astrology we are always advised not to sign any contracts or start anything new during a Mercury Rx. Has anyone started a new job or moved to a new city during a Mercury Rx? If so, how did it turn out? IP: Logged |

My last move was last minute decision as I had to get out of a bad relationship... I moved half way across the country.... There have been some "trying" times which I think is normal but for the most part I am glad I moved... lots of positive for me here... it was during a mercury retrograde... I think alot depends on what else is going on in transit.... IP: Logged |

Hello All, Thank you for the feedback so far. I do have some planets rx in my natal chart but not Mercury. The planets rx in my natal chart are Saturn, Pluto, & Uranus. I checked my progressed & Solar Return charts and no Mercury is not rx in those charts either. IP: Logged |

I signed a lease on my current abode while mercury was retrogade... Date I was due to move in had to be put back as repairs weren't done on time (they didn't tell me until the day itself!!), then they gave me the wrong keys and I was sitting outside on my bags with nowhere to go, then there were problems setting up direct debit despite giving them my bank details thrice. When I requested a copy of the lease they sent someone else's... After about two months the paperwork was finally sorted. There are still communication problems, however. Stuff in the apartment hasn't been working since we moved in, and after six months of phoning the agency I just gave up. I wouldn't say don't do it necessarily, just be prepared for hiccups.IP: Logged |

Hello TaurustheBull! Welcome to LL to answer your question you were hired when Mercury was direct, so you're safe there but starting during a Rx will probably mean there are some kinks to work out or adjust to. Good Luck on your new job! IP: Logged |
