Hey there everyone. I've taken a much needed break from the dating scene and all of my squirmishes have taught me that its very tricky to find someone that satisfies all of the cancernarian and leo needs that I have in my chart. For years, I had lead with my leo side thinking that I'd be able to get away with being in very sexual relationships with people without being that emotionally tied to them. But I realized that I was doing a lot of damage to myself because after someone would see that I'm very sexual, they'd take advantage of the fact that my cancernarian side would show them a lot of attention and I'd be too scared to express any problems I had with them. I've done a lot of digging and I always see that cancer is best suited with water and earth sign, whereas leo is best suited with fellow fire and air signs. While thats all well and good, I've realized that I think its much safer for me to have a very emotional partner in comparison to the dominant and charismatic archetype that I've been chasing after for years now. While my sun and moon are in cancer, my chiron and vesta are as well - making me somewhat of a hyper crab on top of it. I've seen a lot of threads on this site full of people that are very warm and helpful to those that reach out to them. So I thought I'd just ask... What sort of astrological combinations ( sun x particular moon, specific venus/mars, etc) would you recommend for someone like me? IP: Logged |

Well, I hate to break it to you but you can't limit your options by astrological factors. Go out and meet people. Suppose someone say, why don't you go out and find a Pisces woman with a Cancer moon, would that really help? Also, there are more evolved Pisces and just self-pitying annoying Pisces too. This is basically sun-sign astrology approach and you wont go far with it. Anyway, for me, I've noticed that many of my friends have their sun sign in earth/fire/water signs. I text/meet people on their birthdays, and I noticed I have a lot of virgo friends. So, maybe, I'm compatible with these people compared to say people who are Aquarius/Libra/Gemini. IP: Logged |

Thank you so much! ^-^ The thing about that though is that I'm accustomed to putting myself out there all the time and I'm very used to going out and meeting new people. I was just curious to see if I should set a few strict parameters. Not as far as sun sign, but in terms of everything else. I'm not looking to meet my soul mate or anything. I'd just like something that was actually consistent for once. Thats why I want to tweak my way of going about it. I don't really care for Sun signs when it comes to things like this. In actual synastry, I look at someone's moon, mars, venus, 7th, 8th houses and their love asteroids. I was just curious to see if a few people could string me up a few recommendations. Pisces with a Cancer Moon seems pretty good though. Many pisces afflicted men tend to like me, so this could work out well. Thank you for that <3 IP: Logged |

Don't worry, you're in good hands. Let us know, when you found your prince charming. I'm pretty sure people here will back you up with synastry reading. IP: Logged |

I think you'd do perfectly with an Earth or Water Sun, Water Moon, and Fire Venus and Mars. Since you want/need the emotionality of a relationship stay away from the Air Moon types. I'd say I might be perfect for you (Taurus Sun, Aries Venus, Leo Mars) but I have an Aquarius moon which would technically be turned off by your sensitive needs. No offense whatsoever, just speaking from experience IP: Logged |

Taurus with moon in Leo. My placements. Not hitting on you btw. It's just that I've asked that same question myself on here and the answer most agreed on was a cancer with Venus in Leo. Idk about the Leo mars though. Plus it would be better to take into consideration house rulers.IP: Logged |

In your case ,if you see someone and want to know if your planets get along well.Just pure astro. logic though. Moon / sun in cancer- find another water moon or else earth moon. Venus / mars in Leo - find another venus and/or mars in fire , air . I think your venus and mars conjunct here in leo . Just find one planet that has good aspect with leo, either venus or mars, the others will automatictly aspected too Imo, I find sun compatibility is not the whole answer , when in relationship , moon/ venus is the most important. If it's ok you'll have a smooth relationship but it doesn't tell how long will be end . Besides ,it's really hard to find someone that can be matched with all your sun/moon/venus IP: Logged |

I agree with this, and also take a look at how your chart is set up. If you have a bunch of fire planets, you may attract someone with a fire Mars or maybe is Air dominant or Water dominant. If you have a T-square, look for someone who has the "missing" planet, which is opposite the planet in your chart that makes the two squares. If you have a stellium, look for someone who has planets that make a conjunction, square, or opposition to that stellium. Some people end up with people who have a bunch of their planets squaring or opposing the other person's planets. You could end up with a Taurus sun, Scorpio moon, Pisces Venus as opposed to a supposedly more compatible Pisces sun, Aries moon, Aries Venus.

Sorry DiamondI'm too watery for you with my Pisces Sun, Cancer Moon, Pisces Venus, Mars in Cap, Saturn in Cancer. All joking aside, I think you can't limit yourself from an astrological perspective because you are closing off and while you might looking to figure out an archtype look at characteristics you like and that you find attractive and that will meet your needs. There are always connections between people in lasting relationships but sometimes we don't always recognize why as it's not always someone's Sun and the other's Moon conjuncting or something so obvious.
