I am gonna extrapolate to this life, vs reincarnation for purposes of this question.Where is your comfort level--in the moon sign or the Sun sign? Please, explain with as much detail, as you can! xx ------------------

You know, i have a feeling that i was a Leo in a past life. My Sun Libra, Moon - Leo. But along with Moon in Leo i have Jupiter, South Node, Pallas, Selena, Eros, Hekate, Lucifer, Penelope, Aphrodite, etc, etc. I feel like Leo. I love other people who happen to be Leo, even before i notice that. IP: Logged |

well generally im good with my libra sun but my true comfort zone is my leo moon....its my only leo placement but it sure does show when im comfortable ^^IP: Logged |

Having my sun square my moon its easier to see that at time when I'm being all Aqua like my Scorpyness gets very uncomfortable with it.
I am more comfortable alone then with people.I also see this in other, A cancer sun cap moon I know....is always shopping, I guess its the earth thing, even though she can't afford it. And she is no crab with it comes to money. Another Cap moon I know does this. IP: Logged |

Love this thread, as it opens up new possibilities to me  The Sun, to me, is where I need to strive to express, but it feels so good when I do. Do you, guys, feel that way, too? ------------------

Moon is a persons 1st comfort zone and after that it is South Node, at least I think so...South Node is what you have already mastered and brought with you, it is what you instinctively know already...so the fact that you have those two things in Leo is reason enough for you to feel and be much more Leo like than anything else. I think moon is somewhat more comfortable, but I am pretty much a solid Cappy now. I'm trying to combine/wield both energies in a more positive way. ^_^IP: Logged |

Feel way comfortable with all the traits I carry that point to me being an obvious cancer. But when I become comfortable as a person, I feel even more comfortable (moreso than w/ my sun) expressing what lies beneath (Gem moon) Does that make sense? There's a completely different side of me ALWAYS waiting to come out and show it's friendly face to everyone, all I need is a little reassurance and I'll talk and laugh and mingle for hours. So for you, is the Moon harder to express than the Sun or you only show people your moon when you are comfortable? ------------------

For me, its definitely the moon(Cancer) in 3rd house that shows itself up. I simply have a lot to say....Since my Sun is in Sagittarius (8th house) and my Moon is in the 3rd house(Cancer), I am often not sure which I am expressing as the depth and philosophical side of the sun is very much a great influence on the moon. ^ Interesting!Looking back over the course of my life, I have basically blended the two energies all along. I have used my Cap sun as a hard shell to protect my Pisces moon. But house placement is also revealing. With my moon in the 8H, it's been especially important for me to focus on all the Virgo stuff pertinent to having a 6H sun, to keep me alive and functioning as I trudge through some deep psychic muck.

This is interesting, as I feel my moon/sun relationship is huge, huge, huge in terms of defining me. It's like I'm 2 people that are constantly pushing each other. My scorpio sun just keeps throwing intense, mysterious challenges to my virgo moon that tries to classify, analyze and draw conclusions. My sun is square my moon which I think pretty much explains that deal. I feel like I give my virgo moon a lot more credibility and control, but mainly for the getting through life bits like you said Faith. My moon is also in my 8th house. Ultimately though, my sun is calling the shots on the big issues. I'm pretty tense in general since my virgo is so nervous about my scorpio is the only way I can put it. However, my moon is trine mars so it's impossible for me to not tell it like it is and be extremely honest with myself and others. The intense scorpio sun speaks through a precise virgo filter basically with a mars in Aries, which means I need to try hard not to scare the heck out of everyone, even though deep down, I feel very emotional, open and gentle. I actually feel somewhat uncomfortable with my Sun sign of Libra but I can't say I'm really more comfortable with my Moon sign of Virgo either. Both are difficult for me since
I have to hide my emotions and fear of getting hurt, from Moon square ASC. I have wild emotional reactions and weird emotional impulses that sometimes lack reason. That's Moon semi-square Merc and trine Lilith. And with the Sun, it has zero aspects and it is also my Singleton. Speaking in archaic terms, the Sun equals the dad and Moon equals the mom, I guess it's so tough for me since both my parents are not normal?? And it shows in my chart. The Sun, Libra, is slightly easier since it's elevated in the 10th and drives me to use my artistry in my profession, and my SN is in Taurus too. But all my life I have felt I have edged in to Scorpio territory which annoys my Sun, since my Sun just wants to succeed through intellectual capabilities and by nature doesn't like to dig as deep. I always feel uncomfortable since so much in my chart is Scorpio and that rubs my Sun the wrong way a bit. IP: Logged |

I feel much more comfortable with my moon in Pisces & I relate to it more than my sag. sun. It's easy for me to feel compassionate & all. Sagittarius is outgoing & the life of the party... That's not me, never in a million years. I don't know I feel like I can't really express my sun. People don't see sagittarius in me. IP: Logged |
