I wouldn`t take it ultra serious either. But it sure makes for an amusing read.

Wow, couldn't agree more with this one!

quote:

Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown

43% Compatible
Path of Least Resistance
Sometimes when people talk about taking the path of least resistance, it's a good thing because it means you're not wasting your time and exerting unnecessary effort to get things done. But, in this instance, the easy path isn't really the best one. It's like you're channeling the main character in an 80's movie... The one who's encouraged to marry the eligible prospect within your social class, while we're all rooting for you to get together with the seemingly mismatched wildcard from the other side of the tracks instead ("Pretty in Pink," anyone? OK, we officially feel old now). But you're not inclined to rock the boat; you tend to go the predictable route. You'll find that things have a way of running like clockwork when you're together, and you can effortlessly fall in step with each other's daily routines. But you also have this tendency to reinforce each other's bad habits... And you won't be encouraging her growth and development anytime soon. We can't pass judgment on you, though. It's always tempting to keep the status quo going.

LOL

According to the calculator my parents, who have been married for 38 years and still love each other very much, have a compatibility of 19%.

I am waiting for the full report, since I found the content of the report pretty fitting so far, even if the percentages may be off.

Mine have 90% and they have always been at each other's throats and almost divorced.. Creepy.

Yes.
They are still walking hand in hand most of the time. lol
It`s interesting. My Dad is an Aquarius, and my Mum a Scorpio, and they ARE different in many areas, but somehow the basic concepts of life fit each other nevertheless, and on top of that they have a lot of love for each other.
Of course it is not always easy, and they have been through rough times, family-wise, but the thing is, they were always in it together. There just never has been any question that they are an "unit".

their report sais:

"When Sexy Met Crazy

You're about as into each other as newlywed Pamela and Tommy once were. Remember how they did crazy stuff to prove their intense love, like getting sleazy tattoos of each other's names? Much like that ill-fated ink, you may have guessed that this kind of relationship (wait for it...) has a tendency to run skin deep. At first, you two are all about the physical, and you might even find yourselves tempted to star in your own illicit home movie or two. However, as time goes on, those sexy flames will undoubtedly turn into bitter, contentious ashes; once you've gotten your mutual rocks off, neither one of you will really know how to get past all the petty jealousies and betrayals to give each other what you need because you don't really understand what that is to begin with. Suddenly, she'll start acting possessive, aggressive and obsessive, and you'll understandably be overwhelmed by all that. In the harsh light of day, her version of passion may look pretty misguided, especially when you're ready to settle down and put your crazy days behind you. It's better to call this one quits before things get really nuts, and we promise - when this relationship crashes and burns, it's easy for a tattoo artist to change "Tommy" into "Mommy."

Too much information. lol

Nah seriously, I guess they have more chemistry than most married couples (though I am their daughter, I do not like to think about that. Eww. ),
They just did not crash and burn, or put differently, they crash and burn once a day and rise up like a phoenix from the ashes again.

My Dad`s Taurus Moon in 8th house is opposing my Mum`s Scorpio Sun in 5th house for example.
Her Venus exactly conjunct his Saturn-ASC in Virgo
her Mars is also conjunct his SAturn-ASC and his Mars is conjunct her Saturn. (she has Cappy DESC, she needs that).

For his Aquarius-Sun, Venus and Jupiter she has Uranus in 1st house sextile her Venus-Mars-conjunction.

A Venus-mercury-DW probably helps with the comnmunication.

Both have 5th house Suns natally.

Their composite has Pluto on the Leo ASC trine Sun in 5th house xactly.
It just works I think.

Aww that's sweet
I'm glad, especially since it doesn't prove if two people are ment for eachother.

but I agree, the descriptions most of the time seem accurate but not the ratings

speaking of aspects, what orbs does everyone use in synastry charts?

I know there isn't a precise answer since different astrologers have different opinions, but I'm still curious :]

I do astro.com without messing with orb factor, for me is about right I can go upto 10 deg for luminaries sometimes (conj and opp).

My first syn book allowed wide orbs, it's hard to get that out of my head. Plus I totally feel some of them.

00°-02°: strong

02°-04°: medium - average

04°-06°: weak (but probably subtly existent)

06°-08: very weak,

I usually first look for those aspects within 3°, and only then expand the orbs, if I see that there is a pattern existent.

See, I hear that often, but `don`t believe that (no offense).
Usually if someone claims to feel these wide orbs, there will be an accompanying natal pattern or midpoint aspect or parallel / contraparallel, reinforcing the meaning of the aspect.

Obviously that is just my view though. lol

Yeah, I think they are reinforced by other combos.. You're right about that.. But dunno.. I'm not that strict with orbs.. except for statistics.

Lol, Holmes is too "sophisticated" for local celeb watching, "cristy" or "lolit" would be more appropriate, lol. Yeah i read that marian and dingdong are both leo. Since you didn't mention her having an attitude problem, i assume that she was "behaved" that time? I read lots of articles about her nasty and arrogant attitude. Also seen some youtube videos corroborating it. Anyway it would be interesting to study her chart, don't you think? Try asking your trainer to ask her birth date, place and time, then post it here so we will know what she's really like, lol. Tall order, i know, hahaha!

Interesting, an old friend of mine said she felt a Moon conjunct Moon in an 8d orb

I agree nice setup
Do you also take applying/seperating into consideration?

It`s okay. Many paths lead to Rome.

Actually I sort of doing something similiar.
I check for the tightest ASPECTS, but keep an overview about the signbackgrounds as well and how they harmonize.

It just recently struck me, but yes I increasingly pay attention, especially since applying aspects get exact through progressions, while separating are not.

For progressed synastry I pay most attention to applying aspects, and find that once an aspect peaked it very quickly fades out (one degree separating at most).

Is "holmes" a new slang word that i'm not aware of? Lol. Anyway, yeah try to make small talk and see what info you can get. (is she even friendly to begin with? The stories that i read about her makes her look like she's condescending). I'm guessing she wouldn't know her birth time, most people who aren't into astrology don't have an idea, i remember having to look for my birth certificate to get the info, lol.

It wasn't accurate for me at all. I input my ex's data and it said we're 96% compatible! We had many differences and very little in common.
