Hi everyone!I was wondering if anyone remember experiences related to their ascendant progressing, in particularly Aries to Taurus. I am having mine in about 2 weeks and am getting excited about the changes it will bring. Please feel free to share any insights! I'd be very delighted + appreciative! Edit: Would my new Taurus rising be ruled by Progressed Venus in 12th house Pisces or Natal Venus in 11th house Aquarius?

I don't have progressed ascendant in taurus but I'm guessing it would mean you being much more interested in material things & security. It would calm down your Aries rising a bit . My ascendant progressed to Pisces when I was 16, something did happen. Ascendant ruler was in the 12th house of secrets & damm right one of my deep darkest secrets got discovered. One of my worst fears came true. Ascendant progressing would add some new characteristics to your personality & maybe some sort of even will happen ( but it depends on the individuals chart). Hmm.. my progressed Venus which will rule the progressed Ascendant is also in my 12th house. Deep dark secret.. Hehe I am trying to think of any. I am hoping I will become more responsible and stable. More sensitive towards others feelings and less reckless. I've read somewhere that appearances will change, but I can't find the article. Something about dressing up more femininely. IP: Logged |

Yes when my ascendant progressed into Pisces, people looked at me in a different way. They said that I looked changed more fragile, sensitive & dreamy. They didn't want to hurt me even the meanest guys in high school would be really nice to me. Progressions are interesting ^_^ IP: Logged |

Now my progressed venus in leo, house 1. PR venus was in my N house 12 in almost 20 year. On that time my life was a really family and an education life. I rised my children and go through all the education at the same time. 3 years to nurse and 1,5 years special education to aestetic nurse and intensivecare unit ward nurse. That was an hard time but very developing. When AC progressed into my N virgo I change to be more critical, analytical on how people like me, more critical to other people and strong critical about my self also. I also feel I will love when Sun will enter libra about 2,5 year. My N mercury conj N uranus conj N pluto in virgo also made my virgo year by the progression.

Awww~ Pisces rising can be cute. I know a few people who have it natal (I'm a Pisces sun, drawn to them naturally haha), they do look dreamy.

Thanks for sharing!! That's a lot of planets activity in your progressed Asc. All Virgo! Wow! I only have Mars in Taurus, which is also my natal Chart ruler. From Mars change to Venus. Wonder what will happen

My ASC progressed into Taurus when I was about 10 years old. Unfortunately I lost that ASC Aries ability to eat anything and gain no weight. HAha Considering I have spent most of my life with a Progressed Taurus ASC, there isn't much to compare between the two. My life definitely changed, I turned from completely extroverted to primarily introverted (due to external circumstances). The biggest learning experience revolved around identifying quality of self and personality, body image, and exploring intimacy. My ASC just progressed to Gemini recently and I am looking forward to the extroversion and higher metabolism. =) Perhaps I will finish one of the several books floating around in my head. I have already noticed an increase in drive and a subtle desire to be social. Gemini is a tough one for me because it is my Sun's opposing sign. I admit I have been too turned off by the close Geminis in my life to find a quality which I consider endearing. I am hoping this progression will help me get over some of my aversion and help me to understand Gemini better. I also hope my initial aversion to the sign will help me not fall into some of the Geminian traits which I dislike. IP: Logged |

Yes,progressions are mirrors of the internal changes, but sometimes it can be apparent on the outside, too.

Ohno!!!! You're scaring me now! Yes I could eat a truckload of food and people would still think I am anorexic! Now I'm disliking the progression hahaha. About being introvert/extrovert, I was hoping to become more extrovert (would be good for career/romance), but now a bit worry with what it'd bring. I've spent most of the 4 years prior in recluse. Am trying to get out of my shell haha. Still.. the weight gaining thing. D: IP: Logged |

How it manifested for me certainly doesn't have to be how it manifests for you. My natal Chiron is in Taurus 1st House, so that had a lot to do with the weight gain and introversion. I suggest walking into whatever happens with open arms (a much better option than kicking and screaming hehe), you will always have Aries as your natal ASC, and that certainly doesn't go away. I learned a lot of awesome things from the progression, like the ability to appreciate things and people for their true beauty, the ability to slow down and fully assess my situation and environment, and the ability to look honestly at my self. I think One of the luckiest things about having a progressed ASC from Aries is the fearlessness and ability to just say, "Screw it, lets do this". That alone makes Taurus MUCH easier than it would be with out the Aries influence. If you fear you could be susceptible to weight gain, start a work out routine. Part of the lesson was very much about getting to know my body. Had I studied astrology when I was 10 and known what was coming, I would have definitely found a physical avenue for all the energy settling in my body. =) The key for me really was just stopping and observing or listening to the situation (which is sometimes difficult when you are used to doing things in an Aries way). Thank you Xiiro for sharing your wisdom! I feel so much better hearing insights from someone more mature and experienced. I don't binge eat nowadays, as compared to my adolescent years. The work out routine is a great idea, I will take it into consideration. I don't know if we really do start experiencing some transitions even at 28/29 deg of progression (like starting to feel the next ascendant), however I do remind myself to be a better listener, to really slow down and listen to what others would say. In other words, I certainly am more patient, and I'm glad for that. I've done some reading and know that, progression does not necessarily override natal chart, but more of adding traits to it. However, I am also curious as to astrologically speaking, what is the impact of a progressed Venus in natal 12th house, as Venus is the chart ruler? IP: Logged |
