Topic: Any experienced Venus Rxers out there, can give me some advice?

I freak out about relationships, I admit. I have Cap on the descendent, and Venus Rx in the 8th. Benjamin Bernstein says that having Saturn either rule or reside in the 7th house is like having "the stern daddy at the door, asking every potential suitor, 'are you good enough for my daughter?'" Ha ha, that's how it's been like. Plus, with Venus Rx in Aquarius, I guess I'm doomed to struggling with relationships! Maybe, to put it in a positive spin, I'm here on earth to learn how to do relationships right. Yeah, let's put it that way.
I'm 30, and the longest I've ever been in a relationship (besides the 4-year marriage to my abusive ex husband, whom I only married because we got pregnant) is 3 months.
so... anyway... There's this guy... We were friends, and I had a crush on him, in college. We've been in distant touch over the past 10 years. He came to visit me a few months ago, as he was passing through town, and expressed an interest in me, but... he has Venus Rx too, and we both were hesitant. But I can't get him off my mind. So, I worked through a lot of personal stuff, and finally decided to email him and ask if we could pursue some kind of dating. (He's in the next state over, so it would be LDR for awhile, but I'm OK with that.) He responded that he's interested, but not sure what he's really looking for right now, but let's meet in person soon and discuss what it might look like.With my Capricorn sun, and his Capricorn moon, it felt kind of like shaking hands on a job contract or something! ha ha ha. Should there have been more... emotion? passion? romantic language? What should I think about this? :P Anyone out there have Venus Rx? How have you handled this energy as applied to relationships? ------------------

I also have a capricorn descendant, and venus Rx in the 7th house in aquarius. My experience of venus Rx has been one of constant reconsideration before expressing any interest and when confronted with someone's interest.
Relationship don't come naturally to me, I always find myself being and feeling awkward, then I think to myself "oh wasn't it a bit cold?, wasn't I a bit distant?". I basically overthink every little thing and constantly ask myself what the should and shouldn't are (which I usually answer by observing others and end up disagreeing with).
I don't know if it's the work of venus rx but I also tend to doubt people's appreciation/love and am sometimes completely oblivious to it. I'm a capricorn sun and moon so with saturn also as my descendant ruler, relationship are already pretty much a serious business to me. I need to know where it is going, and what it is about. I also want "the real deal" though I often question myself as to what exactly that is, what love is about, what relationships are about, and what is the most important. I think saturn makes me want structure right from the moment I have the feeling there is mutual interest. As I said I need to know where I stand, and what it is that the other person wants from me. Yet I know that's not how things work, that it should take time..or not?
Anyway, I was told once that not only did I act in a very detached, I-don't-care-what-you-feel manner and that somehow people could pick up the vibe of "only serious suitors need to apply" and that I made them feel like they needed to confess right away, fairy-tales style...  I guess that's the result of the capricorn-aquarius combo. anyway, I told myself to let things flow naturally and stop always trying to know more, to over think, over analyze.. and I try to let my feelings show more, and to stop acting as if that was a big deal.
