How interesting, I personally find that eyes are more connected to the Moon.

Pay close attention to the Moon sign and the eyes and there are definitely some similarities! I've found that to be true, anyway.

Oh I think there was a thread on this..

Haha no, there was a thread about the Moon sign and the eyes.

Maybe I can find it later but I'm too lazy now.

I know what you mean Doux.. I feel the Moon as well.. but for some reason I notice Mercury more strongly.
I can always pick water Mercuries (like my own) because we all have watery/dreamy eyes.
But the Moon is still there - in the person's eyes... just not *as* striking.. from my perspective. I think you have to look -deeper- to see the Moon... if that makes sense...

Actually.. It's kind of like the Mercury placement provides an 'outer' shell... that seems to be 80% of the way the person's eyes look&feel.
The Moon represents that hidden 20%. You have to stare at them for a whiiiile.... to really see it.

The other planets (including the Sun) don't come across in the person's eyes imo...

Interesting, Odette!

Well, I have Mercury in Scorpio and I don't have watery eyes. My Moon is in Virgo and I think my eyes are very.. ordinary? Like, not sparkling or shiny or watery. Just plain boring brown eyes.

And I know people with fire Mercuries who have watery eyes.. hmm.. maybe that's too complicated a subject. I guess it's a combination of things, ASC, Moon, Sun, etc.

Yep it's true. My Mercury is in Cap, Moon in Virgo, ASC in Aries. I think it's the Sag influence.

I'm tired in this pic, but still...

I don't know if it shows in my eyes/appearance though, I think my Cancer ascendant is more obvious... I'm also raising my eyebrow really weirdly in this picture lol but oh well

Quite contrarily, I associate large, inquisitive eyes with Sagittarius placements. I myself have large almond-shaped eyes (Sun/Mercury/Mars in Sagittarius). My mother is also a Sagittarius with many other placements in Sagittarius and has the same eyes. We've both also noted many other Sags with huge eyes.

Now that I think of it, though, I have a little sister (born December 2) who has squinty eyes, and a cousin (born December 1) who has squinty eyes. I don't know if I would call them "squinty" so much as I would "cat-like" or "feline". They're both very rich blues and greens.

And for the record, I don't think Miley Cyrus's eyes are squinty in the least -- in fact, I find them rather large and luminous.

Doux - it's an intuitive thing to be honest. Maybe I shouldn't be so descriptive like saying - watery or non-watery eyes.
But I can definitely tell the difference between a water Mercury - and other elements.. based on their eyes.
Their eyes are just deeper.
i can't explain since it is based on my intuition and it's also based on the eye contact between us.. I mean in my mind - I may see your eyes as watery - even if you don't..

Hmmm I am December 3rd, maybe there is some connection.

I disagree. The Asian (exotic) look is Scorpio.
Saggies have twinkling eyes. Playful and mischievous.

I agree Doux Rêve, the Moon describes the eyes more than the Sun.

The AC and Moon seem primary indicators for one's appearance. Sun seems to only play a role in overall body shape and vitality.

Xiiro - reddish hair, prominent cheekbones, direct and piercing eyes, all very Arian traits.

------------------
Burning eyes since '95.

Sun - Sag 10 | Moon - Lib 16 | ASC - Aqu 12

Mars may factor in, too. But I've noticed that Geminis tends to be lanky or wiry and just always moving around. Taurus Suns tend to have broader shoulders and hunker down, Cancers tend to put any weight on around the gut and be sedentary, Librans tend to be thin, etc etc. As a Sagittarian, I've definitely got wide hips.

I haven't noticed this.

Also, eye shape is an ethnic feature. Vanessa Hudgens, for instance, is Irish, Native American, Filipino, Spanish and Chinese, and I actually find her eyes to be large and quite expressive.
