But I liked this particular interpretation. It *fits* us pretty well overall.
I especially like the mention of a "self protection paradox" which seems so FITTING for the way we are both acting.

I kinda see it in his eyes when he has a problem.
We have Pisces-Scorpio trines.

I don't feel like they effectively hide their problems.. because if you are an emotional person (watery!) - then it's so easy to know - when they are upset.

I also think that cancer and aries are similar, though.

They both like to move quickly from activity to activity. They are both powerfully emotionally expressive-naturally, they cant even help it. They both have tempers. they are both kind detached or withdrawn from situations and kind of are only interested in what's in it for them in whatever they do. They're also both kind of antisocial and loners, though they both put up a good front of sociability. They both have pretty strong opinions about most things. They both want adventure except that cancer goes more towards adventures in nature and doing offbeat things while aries likes parties a lot more. Other than that, they are total opposites lol. Cancer is scared of everything, aries isnt. Cancer likes talking about their emotions, aries doesnt. Cancer appreciates serving others and putting other people first, and aries is me me me I AM ME and im awesome haha so i shouldnt have to put anyone before me. Cancer is clingy, aries tries to run away from attachments as much possible. Aries is very independent, cancer is also independent but gets depressed a lot more frequently so they need a lot more emotional support.

I think aries and scorpio have similar tempers since they both can be kind of pushy, dominating and rude, but in a way that's extroverted and socially acceptable. They are also both magnetic people usually and have masculine appearances. They're also both very hyper usually and even they way the talk is kind of similar..it's kind of egocentric, i guess, but in an attractive way..not a bad way haha. Um, i dunno how to phrase it or how to call it lol. It's not a bad thing at all, i actually like it. But it definitely portrays confidence nd kind of a haughty indifference or "im too cool for you" attitude lol. which is attractive. I'm sure you're aware of the differences, so i wont mention those.

People who have more water -- especially Mercury in water (since Merc rules communication) - will want to have an unspoken understanding with their partner - so these things don't need to be said out loud.

Other than jealousy, they are both very sensitive, but i think with scorpio it's more obvious since they are a water sign and they do show their vulnerability a lot more like you said . I think aries seems cool and indifferent but they are very sensitive and its more of a need to be seen as strong and confident by the world...similar to leo.

True!

Also, Aries simply doesn't have the capacity to care that Scorpio does, about anything. I don't think it's bad on Aries just simply a manufacturing difference in personality. Aries and Scorpio can also end up being highly competitive with each other. I like Scorpio men because they are upfront like a Sag but sensitive like a Scorpio.

It always ends up in a massive power struggle with the Scorpio and half of it is due to the fact that I feel like I can't crack them open and pull them apart to figure them out, or get inside their head, or they "shun" you if there is any perceived fear. And that and trying to assert myself and dominance over someone who is a member of a sign that is ALL about control and power (sorry, but it's just my nature to be the one who rules the roost) and secrecy. I don't have an issue with abandonment (never seen it in other Aries?) but I see it all the time with Scorpios. At least, all of the people I got tied up with had major walls built up.

So my personal experience with Aries-Scorpio relationships (as the Aries) is that. Power struggle, being a uneven playing field emotionally (I guess as for emotional maturity, and the emotional intensity/depth) and jealousy.
