Are close trines and/or squares significant in synastry between personal planets and nodes of the moon? Or not really?

Hi, nice to meet you, welcome to Lindaland.

I count them as significant. If your partner's sun is square your nodal axis, he ore she might play a pivotal role in how your own development plays out. My understanding is, it's not considered positive.

Trines are always easier and offer an advantage. My sun is trine my husband's SN pretty close, and sextile his NN. I feel that I can sense where he's coming from (SN) and sort of modulate things like conversations and decisions "northward."
