Anyone have any experience with this, or know how it might work out compatibility wise? There's not much written about it, so I'm curious as to how it would work out. My boyfriend and I have this in synastry, almost reversed to the same degrees. I have a feeling that it would have something to do with, seeing what you need in a partner projected in another person, though I'm not sure about the MC/IC business...Me:
Asc - Leo
Desc - Aqua
IC - Scorpio
MC - Taurus Him:
Asc - Aqua
Desc - Leo
IC - Taurus

I have IC/MC reversed with someone in synastry by sign. Since the MC represents the public image, or at least what we want it to be or how it's projected on us... And the IC represents our early family environment and upbringing, I would the IC person has an instinctive understanding of what the MC person is striving for, and is comfortable or at least familiar with those traits (since they learned these things from family upbringing)... So is able to help direct the MC person towards their goals, and at the same time feels comfortable or "at home" with this person... And vice versa. In my example, I think with my Picses MC, I'm trying to move past the perfectionism that was imposed on me, and tendencies to over-analyze, and compartmentalize everything in order to see the bigger picture in life spirituality, the intangible, etc. He is comfortable with the intangible and the fact that everything is inter-connected, but is trying to put this wisdom into practice in a genuine and practical way. Together we have what the other lacks, I see the ways he can put his understanding and compassion to use, and he sees the things that limit me from seeing and working towards the big picture, and ways to overcome them... With ASC/Desc reversed in synastry, I would think this would be great for compatibility because the other person appears as having all the qualities the other looks for in a partner... IP: Logged | |
