I know a few that are 'sensitive' in the sense of being very perceptive, but none that are moody or super-emotional.

not emotional..hmm just sensitive. like they take things the wrong way. it's almost like they're self-conscious i guess and really care what people think and so theyre paranoid.... if u say anything that might even remotely resemble criticism, they seem extremely hurt. i guess it's bc of the common stereotype "virgos are the worst critics with themselves" and whatnot

I don't think so but I heard that when the person is very stressed they start to act out their opposite sign, so virgo will start to be more like Pisces. I don't know if this is true.. I do feel very pisces like at times and i have mercury and venus in virgo.

Yes, my best friend is a Virgo-Sun (though that is the only planet in Virgo), and she was like that for many years.
Super self-conscious, self-critical to the point of beating herself up constantly (which drove that Sag-Sun here NUTS).And very perceptive.

Well, she still is very perceptive, but everything else improved, when she had her children. It`s like now there are more important things to worry about than herself.

Virgo m0on and I am sensitive. I just d0n't show it. When I narrate my tragic love story, people laugh and assume I d0n't really care. But when I go back h0me, I cry like any other m0on. I wetted my pillow for 3 nights after watching titanic. News channels make me feel guilty. I shed a lot of tears of happiness as well. If you see me smiling for n0 apparent reas0n, it means I n0ticed s0mething that m0ved me. It would sound dumb to you and expose my vulnerable side. So I'd ask you to forget it. I talk to my parents maybe 2 hours a week. Many think I'm n0t attached to them when I can die for them.

My insensitive side - You can criticize me, bad m0uth me, cheat on me, use me...I d0n't care. You've cuts on your hand because your partner dumped you, all I would do is advice. Sympathy, n0pe. Your partner hits you, advise. Sympathy, n0. You c0ntinue being with them, I wouldn't even bother listening to your saga. I can't attach myself to friends at all, bf? Hasn't happened till n0w.

I've a cancer sun and a cancer m0on friend and I am atleast m0re sensitive to others needs than them. The Sun, we met a child on the street begging for m0ney. I gave her a chocolate I had bought for dessert and she was all smiles. Late night, I got a hunger pang as usual and my friend said 'who asked you to give the bar ?' :-|
The M0oner seriously ****** me off. We were out shopping and that's when she menti0ned this yelping dog in a drain, d0wn the lane. I asked her to show me the place and when we reached there, I found a starving skinny injured dog. I told her I wanted to go to a meat shop and she was like, ' I want to buy a charger first.' I was like .... Just walked away fr0m there. Heights of insensitivity! If virgo m0on's cold, w0nder what you call a cancer m0on like that.

This rings true for me. I'm a virgo sun and I'm definitely sensitive. I also have cancer asc and leo moon which often makes me take things personal when in most cases it wasn't even aimed at me. And I'm definitely my own worst critic and super self conscious even though I act otherwise in public.

My mom is very sensitive. She's a virgo, while I'm a cancer.

While I make sure people know they hurt me by moping around or not speaking, she never lets you know.

But years later she might remember a slight or something mean that was said and hold it against herself. I hold it against the OTHER person. lol I think that's the difference between virgos and cancers.

It's sad. All those years when you didn't think much of an argument. You let things slip and yet she becomes self conscious
about those things. It's hard then to convince her otherwise.

But I would like to say if you pamper a virgo with compliments like a leo, they will start to heal better.

Just be very careful what you say to anyone. Everyone has a reaction.

yes yes yes! virgo sun here LOL sometimes i take things the wrong way because I think/analyze too much and often think that someone's critisizing me when really it was just a comment with no other intention to offend. I take things seriously when I don't trust you you know, just being cautious and all haha I also get embarassed easily so I guess thats what I do to avoid it

I totally agree with you, that this is a highly sensitive combination. My mom has Cancer/Leo sun-moon combo and she is extremely sensitive sometimes abnormally so, also she loves having attention and can easily feel neglected.

Virgo seems to be sensitive in a different way. With Virgo influences you're ultra sensitive to what people are saying and doing. You have a greater awareness and clarity of others' actions and can be hypersensitive to what the hidden meaning could be. You might think someone's joke is an insult for example when they just have a weird sense of humor. The sense of perception can get twisted and you can feel like others are hurting you or being mean when they aren't really.

Yes we r sensitive I have mars cancer so I can b moody and emotional as well altho I usually get quiet when I hurt. Altho I agree with above statement: I have kids and I don't care so much anymore abt what ppl think. If its someone I know and trust, those the ones I am sensitive with. If they r a complete stranger or someone who doesn't impact my life, ppssh please! I could care less lol having a couple kids changes things. I don't have as much time to worry abt what ppl think. Don't get me wrong, I'm still sensitive. I just get busy and sometimes hurting gets put on hold lol I get around to dealing with it tho. I am virgo sun/venus/mercury, gem moon, and mars cancer.
