I "might" be entering a relationship with an aries guy soon. He is a fantastic athlete and is very strong. I sure do hope that he is not physically abusive. He seems incredibly warm and lovable, but I have no idea how he will be when he is angry...IP: Logged |

Not all of them. But I do know a guy with mars in the 1st house. When he gets angry he gets really scary. He is verbally abusive .I think some aries men or men with a strong mars can get too agressive. I have sun conjunct mars, I'm a girl and I admit I have that fire temper. I know three Aries men and none of them have ever hit a woman, to my knowledge. Very nice guys, but they all have Pisces in their charts too. They are very sweet to their partners. IP: Logged |

Generally speaking, any sign man could be. Steve McQueen beat the crap out of the women he was involved with. There were three more Aries men that I looked up who were physically violent, and all but one were Aries sun, Aquarius moon O.o
They all had squares galore in their charts, mostly likely involving Mars. Most of these men lived in a diff time period, where beating a woman was generally acceptable (50-60 years ago, not rly long). I'm not saying ALL Aries men are like this. Trust me, I have had a Pisces relative (Sweet, gentle Pisces -_-) who wasn't above using physical force, same with an "upstanding" Cancer relative who locked his wife in a bathroom when she would disobey him and whatnot. I'd look at the Mars sign, aspects to Uranus, Pluto, transits and synastry/composite. IP: Logged |

The only one I've seen beat a woman was Taurus sun, aqua rising, Aries moon, Aries Venus. He believed it's what a man should do when women disobey. He's not ancient in his 50s so it's no excuse for him.Maybe it's marlon Brandon's fault lol! He was after all the quintessential wife beating brute on film and he was an Aries sun. IP: Logged |

well, i know a few, and it seems like they would be on the verge of doing so, but never actually do. when they get angry that is.aries are known to have a temper so why not
cancer is also known to have a temper btw but i think aries is worse ------------------

If that is the case, then be consistent. Capricorns have a lousy temper too. I personally don't go around smacking others, but I have a short fuse myself and I'm grossly impatient with people who don't live up to regular expectations.I myself feel I cannot go simply by my subjective experience for each sign. My dad is an Aries and no he is not abusive. He does have quite the temper, but he expresses his anger in words, not physical violence. I guess the verbal abuse can be just as bad depending on how you respond to it and take it in.I've also dated three Aries men and none of them were abusive. IP: Logged |

Ummm, YTA, aries men are very macho, kind of arrogant, have huge tempers, definitely stronger tempers than capricorn or cancer, come on they are practically known for their temper in astrology....so I think I have a right to ask if I am curious. Thank you, frankie, that was very helpful. I can rest assured now, that even though aries guys are kind of scary that doesnt mean they will be physically abusive lol

Given how many signs get crap in this forum ("Oh, every [pick a sign] I know, which would be about 3, was a jerk so obviously hundreds of millions of others with the same sun sign are exactly the same no matter where their planets & asteroids are or their ascendant or what environment they were raised in," followed with so many "that's so true") I'm thinking Aries MUST be physically abusive...or there wouldn't be so many standing up for them (unlike the other signs)...so that they don't get beat up! My older brother is an aries and he is so NOT the abusive type. He's like a big teddy bear. When he says he has a mean streak, he means if u f with his fam he will defend them. Its more like a verbal thing. He has sun/mercury in aries, moon in cancer, venus/mars in taurus. He's big on family and very easy going. So having an aries sun doesn't make someone abusive.IP: Logged |
