my bf and i just returned from a long vacay together and there were, of course, some arguments during our time away. i noticed we fight/make up very differently. after a fight i immediately want to be close and establish intimacy and don't hold resentment/grudges. my bf on the other hand will ignore me for hours, even days and has told me that after a fight 'he cannot stand to touch me' and that the resentment he feels can last from many hours to many days. ok, so what in a (natal) chart might point to that type of behavior when dealing with arguments?? he is also a fan of payback and this-for-that behavior when he feels wronged. I think it depends on elements. Water signs are very t it-for-tat, silent treatment, and into with-holding affection and sex if they feel necessary...they are very big on emotional control and if severe, manipulation. Air will want to talk it out, Fire signs are like MOVE THE EFF ON and Earth signs...ehhh..probably will do the silent treatment or be too stubborn to argue, or might be practical/rational about it. I dunno about Earth.Generally you would look to Moon and Mercury aspects. And the house they are in, maybe. IP: Logged |

I think I am tenacious in my style of arguing. Merc in Aries opposite Pluto. Merc also squares the moon. I can be too rational as well without considering emotions. IP: Logged |

I agree with lazyscarecrow, It does sound like a water trait. Mars rules how you argue as well as the aspect it makes with Mercury. Is his Mars in Cancer? They hold on to slights forever. IP: Logged |

i try to present my arguments logically with facts behind them. I rarely stoop to trying to shame my opposition, i just state why i disagree. aquarius sun, mars and moon in the third, moon trine mercury, mercury conjunct uranus.IP: Logged |

i think you're really accurate on this :-) i looked at his chart and his moon in 12H opposes his mercury. his mars (along with almost everything else) is in pisces. his rising is virgo. he has an aqua sun but not too much else in air. i, on the other hand, am all air with very little of anything else. so, moon/mercury are what we look to for communication issues? and mars for how we fight it out?
