like i said in my previous thread i was doing a chart for my friend and his 3rd house and 4th house were in gemini and his 9th and 10th house were saggittarius But this means virgo is missing and it should be in his 8th house but instead his 8th house is libra . What happens when someone has a virgo sun ??? his girlfriend has a virgo sun and most planets are in virgo including her rising .

Let`s say, the 7th house starts at 22 Leo and the 8th house starts at 5 Libra.

this means that ALL DEGREES from 22 leo to 4 Libra are in the 7th house, including the whole sign of Virgo.
Which means that any planet in Virgo will fall into the 7th house

Edit:
BTW some astrologers say that the qualities of a planet in an intercepted house is blocked or not accessible.
But in over 20 years that I have been dabbling in astrology and checked charts, I have never seen that in actuality.

As a matter of fact I have Pisces intercepted in 3rd house and Jupiter is on 11 Pisces, right in there, and there is nothing blocked or hidden about my Jupiter.

Intercepted houses are products of variable times of Right Ascension for signs, particularly at latitudes further from the equator. They show a widened arc for the houses involved so reveal areas of increased activity or influence, and when in the 1st house add those qualities to the personality/body of the individual.

Yeah I have 1st and 7th intercepted (pisces and virgo are the respective signs) and I don't think I have a hard time accessing those planets (I have a stellium in the 1st in pisces). They just are very apparent in my personality and I have a definite pisces demeanor/appearance flavor in my aqua rising. I'm not much of a performer; I like being in the background. But relationships and friendships do come easy to me. I get along well with people and generally people are quite comfortable around me. I do find virgo energy and qualities hard to understand and incorporate but this might be just due to my sag planets squaring people's virgo planets and my pisces stellium opposing them.

I have intercepted signs too! Aries and Libra are immersed in the 5th and 11th houses. Leo and Aquarius are duplicated.
