I have done my SR up until 2017 and I do not have any houses in the 5th. Do you have to have a house in the 5th to predict a child? Thanks! IP: Logged |

You meant planets and yes. You need planetary energy to predict a child.

I see. So when I do a SR, if nothing says "fifth house", then I most likely will not have any kids? Is this true for a stepchild also?I looked back for the last several years and I did have planets in the 5th house, but I never had kids or worked with them.
Could I be reading it wrong and need to look at something like the ruler of my fifth? I jsut looked at my SR uptp 2022 and that's when I finally see something in my fifth, but I'd be well into my 40's at that time. quote:

you do not have to have planets in the 5th house to have children.
Your Natal Moon will tell you if you are fertile or not and a Venus transit can "time" a pregnancy for you.IP: Logged |

If the natal doesnt have any planets in the 5th house, look where the lord of the sign on the cusp is placed. Usually people with empty houses have no focus there. They don't wish desperately to fullfill that area. No if the SR doesnt have any planetary energy over your natal 5th house trhat means no kids are predicted for that YEAR. That doesnt mean you are doomed to be childless. It means there are other priorities in your life.lala: no offence but you are 100% wrong. The Moon alone cannot tell a person if is fertile or not. I am a Virgo Moon. Am I doomed to be childless? Of course NOT.

If you have no planets in the 5th, you need to look at the sign on the cusp. The quality (afflicted, harmonious) and number of aspects to the ruling planet are the best indication of whether or not you're likely to have children. The whole "if you have no planets in that house, forget it" argument has been given way too much consideration.IP: Logged |

Earth Moons are furtile, even Virgo Moons.
Water Moons are VERY furtile a hard aspect can modify and deny any Moon sign, and yes it depends on the whole chart. IP: Logged |

i have never been interested or known about solar return charts until this post. so i took a look at my upcoming year (2012-2013) and my SR Moon will be in my 5th house...and my 5th house will be Cancer, ruled by the Moon O_o ...does this mean I'm likely to get pregnant? Oh god, I sure as hell hope not!!!! It will be opposite my SR Sun-Pluto conjunction, forming a trine with Neptune and Saturn and square Uranus. IP: Logged |
