I don't think I have lost my temper since mid may..I do have h1 mars, sun opposite mars, and an Aries mercury. I'm not a patient taurean that's for sure.  Is there anything that gives a calming influence on my chart by transit or progression?  IP: Logged |

Well you're not exactly fiery Sand, lol. But I would imagine Neptune trine Asc has mellowed you a lot. And made you attracted even more to pisceans lol. IP: Logged |

To be honest, you're not super firey to begin with. I usually associate firey with actually having lots of planets IN fire signs. You have three (I have 5, so you have to forgive me for not thinking that's quite AS firey). Plus the rulers of those planets are thus: Aries Mercury ruled by 1st house Scorpio Mars, Leo Moon ruled by 7th house Taurus Sun, Saggy Uranus ruled by 3rd house Cappy Jupiter. Nary a natural fire sign ruler. I understand the whole 1st house/Mars aspects thing, but I don't think that makes someone firey so much as impatient and prone to occasional outbursts. At least it is in Scorpio and not in a fire sign, because then you'd have some issues maybe. On the other hand, it is in Scorpio... lol. You know what I noticed has had a calming on me? My progressed Sun moving into Libra. I keep my center much better than I used to. However, it doesn't look like your sun progression into Gemini happened recently, so not that... Your progressed Moon hasn't changed sign either. MAYBE the fact that your progressed Mars has retrograded onto your natal Saturn? I would think that the retro combined with the Saturn restriction would help you keep yourself under control if not possibly causing you to lose a bit of direction/focus. You also have your pSun conjunct your pVenus, so that might cause you simply to be a little more mellow. Progressions last a lot longer than transits though, so not sure how long it's been that way. I also agree about the transiting Neptune trining your Asc as being a partial cause as well. IP: Logged |

Hee hee...  You don't have to be sorry for claiming to be one of us. The Virgo in me just had to correct it. Oddly I do have a lot of fire with natural fire rulers, and while I am abrupt and impatient, I don't lose my temper all that often and I would never even dream of becoming physically violent. Sooooo... Even though I actually do have a firey chart, I don't always identify with the descriptions. Perhaps you do more so. Tauruses are actually known for losing their temper, but in a different way so to speak. They tend to steamroll when they get really mad because when they finally reach that point it is hard for them to calm themselves (fixed earth).  IP: Logged |
