What could that mean in natal?

A dark past?? I do believe in past lives, so it would definetely go there, because my own childhood was not dark, imho.

It does square my AC/DC and thus square my asteroid Hyperborea (very relevant for me as my past lifelines took place in England), and it's conjunct my ASC.

So i guess it would be something bad i did there.

With asteroids, consider the sign as well as the ruler of that sign.

Also take into consideration what the IC means generally.

I have never considered Lilith to be all that positive. Its association with the "dark Moon" often suggests something sinister

I used to envision Lilith on the Moon,the type of Moms who compete with their daughters or even smother their children(literally)

Wow, I have a lot of aspects that are coming up. My BML is conjunct my Part of Fortune and IC. I do also see Lilith as being rather dark, maybe even sinister. But I think her main theme is sexuality and reproduction. A mother archetype. I do kind of identify her; a prominent Lilith reminds me of the Venus trine Pluto aspect, which I also have.

The thread is not about the asteroid, it is about the axis BML.

I identify with popcorns interpretation. I think BML on the IC would rather not have children to keep her freedom and independence but if she did she will give them a lot of freedom and accept their children as they are, nourishing their uniqueness and harnessing their power from within. It wouldnt overprotect like a cancer is at risk off. Its dark side is 5hat they value their independence so much they may be guilty of neglect if tge shadow side manifests.
