The house ruled by your chart ruler ... shouldn't it have a large effect in your life ? and what if a singleton resides in that particular house ?the 10H - which is ruled by my chart ruler, has a singleton planet in its natural ruling sign ... how would that manifest ? I feel I'm very obsessed with my own education and success, sometimes near insanity. I get depressed at the slightest mistake that can hinder my way through success ... Is this the case ?>

Huh? What do you mean? Chart ruler = ruler of the Ascendant. In your case Uranus. The house the chart ruler rules is obviously the Asc.. Confused as to what you are referring at. Ugh, mercury rx over soon? lolIP: Logged |

You don't have any planets in the 10th hun.. But Scorpio on MC can make one pretty obsessive about career on its own. I have it too, with Pluto singleton in the 9th, but in Libra. IP: Logged |

^ forget about it; I just read a book about " Spatial temporal scales of flames " and it drove me up the wall

I have a Virgo Rising, so Mercury...my Tenth House cusp is in Gemini. I take it Mercury rules my Tenth and First houses then...? Or...?I'm confused omg.  IP: Logged |

^Yes I think it rules both housesRedScorp, post more of your fav artworks/illustrations ... you have such a taste for art, and I loved it.

I have Mars in Aries, ruler of chart and h8 in 12th house. Yielding that energy has taken me quite awhile. Learning patience. Dealing with death nad illness... Simple regular excersizes have helped me a great deal in dealing with frustrations. mars trine sun (orb 10)
square neptune (and MC, orb 1 and 0)
square saturn (orb 7)
square uranus (orb 10)
square moon (orb 8)
conjunct AC (orb 10) I'm fairly lost (right now anyway). But I'm close to a psych degree, and I aspire to working in closed mental health institutions helping others. ------------------

The house where the ascendant's ruler falls is emphasized.So If you have a Piscean ASC then both Neptune and Jupiter will color themes in your life, but it's not limited to their placements also aspects are important. I have cap asc with retro saturn in the sixth conjunct moon in cancer and cancer rules both my 6th and seventh houses. It would suggest that the overriding theme in my life will be delay, obstacles etc mostly by own doing in relation to my work affairs and relationships/marriage(s) My manner of getting through this burden is through my north node in the 10th house in Sagitarius meaning that I can get through/overcome the delays/obstacles in partnerships and work through my 10th house (ruled by scopio) north node in Sagittarius
which entails taking risks and becoming a visionary, being opinionated, and being known as a public thinker, having an occupation that allows freedom of movement. If I push towards those ideals/goals I can fulfill the karmic debt of day to day issues as well as partnerships and my intercepted 7th house transforms from Cancer to Leo (intercepted sign) and partnerships are now related to the 1st house (Sun placement) and 5th (natural leo placement) It's a tapestry in essence and chart ruler basically is the initial thread so to speak. clearly my random dumb question created a mental chaos ... I'm sorry for confusing you; so your chart ruler(Venus) will be the ruler of both your 1H and 6H ... your 10H will be ruled by both Uranus and Saturn. IP: Logged |
