So if in a man's chart
Venus = Appearance (what he finds attractive, pretty, etc.)
Moon = Behavior (what he finds comforting, nurturing, very "womenly")
What are the attractions/indicators in a women's chart? Seeing as I am a man I have been pondering this question.

I would break it down to Mars, Saturn, and the Sun.

But what exactly would each one be?

Would Mars be appearance or behavior? As it is Masculinity and Assertion
(I have noticed a trend of women liking men whose ASC conjuncts or is in the same sign as their Mars.)

Or would those be the Sun? Confidence and Ego

I basically think that Saturn would rule behavior, because it would indicate what the women finds to be stable, responsible, and reliable (the whole "father" thing, whereas a man's moon is the "mother"). But what separates it from the Sun in basic terms?

How much of a factor do you think each planet is, and which planet kind of rules over what area of a mate you look for?

This question is mainly for women but if you're a guy and you know the answer feel free.

Please be as specific as you can with your placements and thoughts, My Mercury is in Virgo.

I have Mars in 29 degrees Cancer in the 8th. I like Cancer people but, I'm not usually romantically attracted to Cancer men. Rather, they really tend to like me a lot and I get along easily with them but it's never been a romantic attraction.

I have the Sun in 10 degrees Libra in the 10th and, I really like Aquarius people (Aqua duad/decan) as friends and other Libra people are OK with me but I've never liked a Libra guy or Aqua guy romantically either. I can see the 10th playing in as, I like guys who take their career and themselves seriously and aren't just into silly stuff in life and love. That's true. I like Cap Moons but that's about it.

As for my Saturn, 6 degrees Pisces in the 3rd, I can somewhat see this playing into it, since I really like guys who can openly communicate with me and ease my fear of saying the wrong thing. But I think it has more to do with my Gemini Descendant aspecting Saturn than anything.

Honestly, I think what I really want in a guy is based off of my true personality shown by all my personal planets and Descendant. I guess for some women they could look at these planets and find they're romantically attracted to these types of people but not me.

I'll put my own spin on what you said above:

Sun = I usually like a guy with Libran qualities but not so much, a Libra Sun and/or Moon. 1st house Venus I'm usually attracted to in guys also no matter what the sign it's in.

Mars = My Descendant ruler Mercury squares Mars in the 8th, so I usually seem to find people who can mirror my own qualities back onto me. Which is, being verbally witty, a good debater, but also sometimes merciless with my insults or too cool in my communication. It's sort of a 'you get what you give' thing for me, the Descendant. It makes sense. It's the traits we have that we either like or don't like that we mirror onto other people most often.

Saturn = Touches my Descendant ruler, so I don't always have tumultuous communication with partners. I seek out partners who can solidly communicate with me.

My Mars is in Sag and my ideal mattress is playful, talkative, aggressive, c0nfident, d0minating, easy going, athletic, fun...Mars is in the 11th so familiarity's important, the guy should seem friendly.

Sun's in Sag c0nj mars and I do mistake lust for l0ve. I also categorize men into bf material and husband material. My ideal husband is an army guy(since grade 6), works out, plays(ed) soccer, follows a sport, is independent, n0t clingy, t0o em0ti0nal or intense, playful, open minded, makes me laugh, talks a lot, has his own circle of friends and loves f0od and c0oking. He's generous with m0ney, gifts, c0mpliments, time and air tickets. His attire - formals outside(mars sext saturn), t-shirt with shorts at h0me. I can't stand partners who aren't ambitious or hardworking which means he leaves at 4 and c0mes back at 19. No facial piercings, heavy meaningless tattoos, dyed l0ng hair, angry bird t-shirts and make up. I wear the yellow pants, n0t him.

I have Sun Scorpio, Mars Aries and Saturn Cap. This does not describe the type of man I'm drawn too except for the Scorpio bit. I'm attracted to men with Scorpio moons so there may be something to a sun/moon connection in my case, but it could be from something else too. I know that's not very helpful is it?

I tend to like guys who take on Scorpio, Capricorn, or Aquarian qualities. Makes sense because my ASC and Venus are both in Scorpio, my sun in Capricorn, and the fondness for Aquarian energy is just something I've noticed. I guess I like it cuz it makes squares to my Venus, and I like tension

My Mars is in Aries. Aries men - I get along with but generally haven't been interested in. If this described what I like in men perhaps I like a rugged man's man. Strong. maybe this fits.

My DC is in Taurus. I was hung up on a Taurus for the longest time. This also could explain the man's man.

Ya know what? I might like a mix of Firey and Earth. So maybe I can see the mars.

I have also noticed a consensus in that fact of Saturn not really being a factor. Maybe it is because it is an outer planet?

Oddly enough, I am very much attracted to other Archers but as friends, not lovers. My best girl friends tend to be Sag Suns like myself, or have a lot of Sag & Fire energy. While I do love miltary types, outdoorsy guys, and confidence have never dated someone who fit that profile.

Mercury rules my DSC, and most of my love interests have been my own age or younger. I have never dated anyone who was more than two years older. Mercury is also in Sag in the 12th, haven't dated any Pisceans despite my Moon being in Pisces.

What I have always been attracted to and love, are Capricorn and Scoprios. I love powerful, intense men of few words but massive passion. Someone who has an aura of authority and confidence, with strong sense of honor and conviction.

To explain my type from my chart, I have Venus in Scoprio sextile Saturn, and in mutual reception to Pluto in the 10th. Perhaps it isn't so black and white, having Venus be strictly an attraction source for the gentlemen, as she is the planet of love/attraction which might carry over to what women desite in men?

As to who I eventually married, the first was a Capricorn Sun (the sign I have most dated) with Venus in Scorpio. Current spouse's Sun trines Saturn, and has Saturn/Pluto/Mars conjunct Asc in Scorpio.
