Im just curious if this is a coincidence or if any one else has experienced something similar.

I was with my ex husband for 15 years...
Once it was over, I did the depressed thing, then went into single girl mode..
Then the next guy I fell for is fishy ( did you guess that? lol)

Anyways... I was thinking how they are so different, yet very similar..

So I did a synastry chart with ex hubby and fishy..

Its just amazing to me... I fell for the opposite.. Did anyone else experience this after a long time relationship ended?

Here is their breakdown

ex hubby/fishy

sun= virgo/pisces
moon= aries/sag (ok not opposite)
merc= virgo/pisces
venus = leo/cap
mars= leo/aqua

Hi Lioness,
I havn't checked all their other planets yet - but just realised I had that pattern too. My first serious relationship at 19 - we married in secret & divorced a few months after although we stayed together for over 2 years. He was a Gemini (with moon, venus & mars in taurus). At 21, I then went out with a Saggitarius guy (with merc, venus & mars in scorpio). We got engaged very quickly & he'd planned a wedding in Bali but I walked out a few days before & ran away! But it was on/off for two years. Then I finally got away from him. At 22, almost 23, I met a Pisces guy (aquarius rising) & we lived together for a year. Finally, I met my Virgo guy (leo rising) at 24 & married again (but this time with a big wedding & lots of fanfare!!) & we've been together for 15 years so pretty sure this is it now!! No more mutable signs to go through!!

Thats weird.. I wonder if our soul (so to speak) is looking for different lessons, so we unconsciously find the opposite.. Until you find the one.

Interesting thought.

ive seen astrologers writing about this phenomenon with celebrity couples who break up. sorry but the only example i remember is jessica alba how she went from dating a capricorn to a cancer. lol

Interesting! Lol I did the same as Jessica, went from goat to crab. Years later though, didnt leave the goat for the crab. Ive thought about the opposite sun theme a lot, especially as ironically my crab spouse and I are parents to an adventerous goat

Hmmm to compare further, there isnt an opposition between both of my partners moons or mercuries. no aspects at all in fact. no oppositions w venus or mars either. both do have venus in water & trine to each other and mars in sextile.

I like the idea of lessons learned via astrology. Very interesting that in my first marriage, an Air sun intrigued me enough to seek separation from my spouse and now years later a friend of the same Sun sign has made his way into my heart. This time Im doing my best to work things out in my union & no longer speak to this other person. It intrigues me though, that it seems have something to learn from these sun signs.

this is very interesting. this seems to be when the person is projecting some of her planet and first it goes from one extreme to the other.

it happened to me as well and i also got a fishy LOL

i would suggest you look what parts of you need you to OWN the planet so you dont have to project them in the partners. it seems you have been balancing the energy of your planets from one projection ot the other. does it make sense?

Actually yes it makes sense..
I have a packed h6, which is ruled my virgo, my dsc is in virgo, so I did marry someone like me..
But afterwards, I wanted something more, more bonding and more spiritual..

Another thing I notice is there saturn.
Ex hubby saturn in pisces, fishy saturn in virgo..

I'm going to look more into this...

Pisces/Taurus moon
Cap/scorpio merc
cap/scorpio venus
Taurus/virgo mars

I've been divorced now since '09. Have not met anyone since, but my ex was the same age as me; this time around, I find myself attracted to refined, older men...If not that, men who tend to bring my more playful side. I have a feeling my next partner is going to either a Leo or a Libra.

...I hope.

LOL... You know what I realized fishy was married to an aqua.... Idk her other placements but it sure would be funny if she has a aqua stellium...

I really like nordicsoul thoughts, that you look for your own needs (which is true) I realized my ex (virgo) didnt really give me what I needed so I went the total opposite now...
