Maybe Aries with like a Pisces, Scorpio or perhaps Cancer moon...Sag would be too light-hearted for him and idk bout Leo.

I personally see the Beast as an Aries. (I also see Gaston as a negative type of Leo with multiple Leo planets, Maurice as an Aquarius, and Belle as a Libra). If he's not an Aries, he's a Leo or, less likely, a Sag.

Thinking back to the beginning where he is rude to the enchantress giving him the rose and asking for shelter: he didn't consider/suspect that the enchantress who gave him the rose might be a sorceress. A water sign may have had the intuition to pick that up. He's definitely not a Libra or he would have had more manners; plus, Libra loves beauty, so a rose would have been welcome. Capricorn and Virgo, too, I would think would have more manners. Virgo and Pisces are both service-oriented and may have tried to help the woman out. I wouldn't say he's a Gemini or Aquarius because he probably would have been at least curious about the woman rather than rude. Taurus would be sensual and would like a rose, and would probably clean the house once in awhile, given that they're very sensitive about their environment and sensually in-tune (his place was a mess). Scorpio wouldn't have answered the door in the first place, being suspicious of a stranger in the night. That leaves fire signs.

Given that the Beast was reborn after being a beast, and that Aries is the sign of new life/newness/is symbolically an infant/spring is the beginning of the seasons, it would make sense for me if he was an Aries, since his old, beastly, ghastly self 'died' and was 'reborn' as a better person.

He's pretty impulsive, too, and he has a nasty temper, and can be very stubborn. However, he's also willing to fight for those he loves.

The only Sag thing about him are the books, given that Sag has a philosophical bent, but he doesn't seem very Sag.

I can see a Cap ascendant, though. I mean, she DOES go to her dad when they're having a romantic moment. That would be Cappy--family and duty and all. (I say that in a light-hearted spirit, not to be mean or rude or anything).
