Hello - Another post (I know there have been many on here) about Magi...

I have used several relationships to study chiron and linkages all within their designated orbs. There is a lot of truth to what I see.

One example: My parents married for 40 years have 5 Chiron linkages just in Geocentric aspects and parallels within orb. I am sure their are more in Heliocentric and in their meeting chart and marriage chart.

But my husband and I have been married since 2008. Been together since 2005. We seem to have mostly negative chiron Magi linkages and very few positive linkages. So magi reason would stand that we would never have gotten married OR we'd be very unhappy together right??? But we are super inlove and have quite a "magical" relationship full of love and chemistry. So what am I missing if you follow their thinking??? What gives here? I just don't get it.

In CAC Geo all I see is:
Uranus // Chiron
Unanus opposed chiron
Chiron conjunct Chiron (not really an aspect)
Chiron Conjunct IC (don't even know if they consider that anything special)
Saturn // Venus (not a good one to have)
Venus trine Jupiter (our most exact aspect)
Moon trine Pluto

Helio CAC:
Venus square Chiron
Venus Opposed Chiron
Saturn square Chiron
Chiron opposed Uranus
Venus//Juno (I think this is correct with .26)
Saturn//Chiron

I am trying to truly compile all of our Magi aspects through the CAC, heliocentric, parallels etc all within their designated orbs. I'm not sure I'm doing it accurately.

I have their basic software with a romantic interpretations, I also have Solar Fire and use Astro.com. Sometimes the delineations are different too. This makes it harder to analyze.

Anyone interested in helping me see what I might be missing? midpoints? The first date chart? Marriage chart?

I appreciate your dialogue!

Blessings to you,
Rose

Look, if your relationship is good, don't listen to astrology telling you that it is not good.

Magi astrology is not what it's cracked up to be. When I bought their books and software around 2000, they clearly stated that Chiron/Venus linkage (conjunction, trine and sextile) were the most beneficial aspect one could have, and that it promised life long love, blah blah blah. Well I have this with someone and the break up was godawful.

Magi has since revised its theory and has found other "most" beneficial aspects, but I would take them with a grain of salt. I do use some of their understanding, namely their views on Mars and chiron, and quincunxes involving Saturn, but for the rest of their stuff, like I said, grain of salt. They don't take into account ascendant and chart ruler, planets placement in houses, which to me is a monumental mistake.

Belage - lol! I agree with you. I just am curious to find others out there with a successful marriage with ALLL those "negatives" magi claims will doom things. Especially given the fact there is some truth to what they discuss to some degree. I wonder what the balancing factors would be that would outweigh the negatives...and that is why I think the "whole" picture must be looked at for accuracy. I am still learning and it gets confusing.

My husband and I have significant aspects - several tight nodal connections including - Sun conjunct SN. And Moon trine AC, Moon sextile AC, mars trine venus venus in 7th and venus in 5th, to name just some...
