So, I saw a scorpion for the first time in my life a few weeks ago and it truly scared the sh*t out of me. I have never seen a more evil looking creature. I killed it on the spot.

It freaked me out so bad that I'm no longer afraid of spiders. Spiders are cuddly little bunnies compared to scorpions (imo)

So I started wondering, what is it about a scorpion that connects it to the zodiac sign, Scorpio?

I understand some connections with the symbol for other signs - for instance, Cancer's animal is the Crab and crabs tend to hide in their shell - much like a Cancer. What is the connection between SCORPIONS and SCORPIO?

I find it weird that I was so scared of the scorpion, considering I have a lot of Scorpio influence in my chart (ASC, Venus & Pluto - conj ASC, etc). I couldn't sleep the night I found it!

i don't think having scorpio placements makes you like them lol
i am almost deathly afraid of them and i've got scorpio.
but its supposedly because of how they can sting themselves. so its like scorpio's tend to hurt themselves the most. Revenge can backfire, or jealousy and possessiveness are other bad things. But yu know Scorpio is also associated with the Eagle and gray lizard? I read that in a Linda book. The eagle's are the most 'evolved' form of a Scorpio because they have risen above all petty things like jealousy etc....

I love scorpions, I'd probably keep one as a pet if it couldn't kill me lol

I think astrologers connect scorpio's personalities with the way scorpion looks.
Scorpions appear "sexual", "evil", "dark minded", and stereotypically ppl who have scorpio placements carry those traits.

I have Scorpio Sun-Mars-Pluto 8H but most ppl wouldn't know if they met me, apperance or personality... however, once in a while i'll take creepy pictures edit

Does a Scorpion bite AND sting? if so - that would make sense since Scorpios tend to "bite" and then do even further damage with the "sting"

and as far as I know scorpions don't bite, just sting. But I guess you can say ScorpiOs bite and Scorpions sting lol, not that I would actually do that to anyone physically.
