I was perusing online and got wind that the manner of birth is reflected in the aspects to the ascendant of the chart...What aspects should i look at that would indicate an easy or hard birth... What about an aspect that indicates death to the mother during birth? How would the degrees play out? Houses? Signs? IP: Logged |

My birth was haaard. I had twins and the epidural not only didn't work, but the doc touched something in my spine and it hurt something fierce (worst pain I've ever felt). So I had to go thru 18 hrs of labor without anything... My second one was breech and got stuck... when the doc eventually got him out, he was half dead, he wasn't breathing and stuff... All in all, it was a horible experience. My birth data: Aug. 15th, 1979; 1:35 PM, Bucharest, RomaniaIP: Logged |

Thank you shadow Leo. Iam so sorry to read that you had a very traumatic time... Maybe its the BML that was badly aspected?I hope others chime in with other suggestions... I know a badly aspected saturn delays/denies.... I have that in my composite chart regarding childbirth with a long past partner. So maybe that aspect would correspond in a natal chart aswell. I'm due in January. I'm a Capricorn Ascedent closest aspect is the Sun. Ruled by Saturn in Aqaurius RX.My child and the adoptee's child will be here January 13 supposedly and will be a Capricorn Sun/Aqaurius Moon. First pregnancy, so child birth is something I'm entirely new to and a little scary. First trimester I had day sickness, threw up everything, constipation, black outs, dehydration, became ill twice, multiple hospital and doctor visits. That tapered off a little now in second trimester. I already have the braxton hicks going full throttle, I had no idea that you cramp during pregnancy, so I had a bit of a scare. Other than that things seem normal. IP: Logged |

^ Best wishes for a safe and easy delivery!I have five children, gave birth naturally each time. No complications, no epidural, no nothing. Worst birth was my last, the midwife basically attacked me with a huge syringe of pitocin while I was pushing. Later, she explained that she did it as a preventative measure, without telling me. (I was in so much pain from pushing, I didn't notice.) It violated the contract I had with the Birth Center, it caused the worst afterbirth pains EVER, and basically infuriated me. At the time I was attacked, the moon was exactly conjunct Mars in Leo. (My son's aspect.) Apparently, the midwife just felt (moon) like being aggressive (Mars) in a way that glorified herself (Leo). Like, "Oh I'm so smart, I know to give this shot when a woman meets these clinical criteria!" Try not to give birth when moon is conjunct Mars. Not in a fire sign especially. IP: Logged |

I had hard births. Moon conj Mars--8 degrees and trine Saturn 7-8 degrees. It is called an unaspected moon, by some. ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

First birth was easy had an epidural but had preclampsia so it was still considered an emergency delivery. Second birth no epidural and my poor sag as well as the entire staff of hospital doctors and nurses were cursed out and blamed for my exuciating pain. Taurs asc, sag moon IP: Logged |

Hmm interesting. I have had three babies, all seemed relatively easy although I had to have epidural for first two but no complications afterwards with any babies. My aspects to ascendant are moon in pisces sextile ascendant in Taurus (2 deg orb).IP: Logged |
