curious, i often read that in order to know what a man likes, you need to look at the venus and the moon. but, there is something that is troubling me. for the most part, a person's venus is going to be the same as the sun sign, if not, a neighboring sign...isnt putting too much faith on the venus position on a man's chart a little bit odd then? it is not something i care to rely on that much because of the sun-venus connection. Look at the major aspects they're making, and see if there is a correlation to your chart in that way. It helps to make it more specific to the person you're involved with/interested in. For instance I date a lot of men who have Venus/Pluto, and I have that aspect as well, plus Mars/Pluto, Moon/Pluto, Sun H8 trine Pluto, so it stands to reason that they're searching for a specific erotic experience in their lover (Venus) and they find it in me. Of course our charts will be lining up in other ways, so it's that whole picture taken with a wide angle lens, vs a sign or a certain composite aspect.I think the easiest thing is just to look back at past natals of men you've dated/married/have been attracted to you and see what factor is connecting to yours. Then you won't be left wondering as it seems you are now. Patterns repeat themselves. IP: Logged |

I'd say look at Venus and Mars for attraction/romantic interest rather than the moon. Also, every person has up to five potential Venus placements. Using my sign as an example, someone who is a sun sign Libra could have Venus in Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, or Sagittarius. Most Libras that I've encountered have had it in one of the first four signs; I haven't met many Libras with Venus in Sagittarius. Usually, it's in the sign before or after, like Mercury. However, it can technically be up to two signs before or after your own, or be in your own. Speaking of Mercury, that brings me to my next point: look at other personal planets for an overview of the person. Mercury is how a person communicates and rules mental processes. Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, and Venus would give you a pretty good idea of what someone is like. If you know the birth time, the ASC would also be something to look at. Other planets do come into play, even though the sun is the most important, and they do add flavor and variety to your sun sign. IP: Logged | |
