Like Scorpio, Pisces is a sign of extremes. The best, most inspiring, compassionate and courageous people can be found under those two signs, as well as the cruellest and worst people you will ever meet.

I think there are signs who, at their worst and least evolved manifestation of the energies of the sign, are more likely to turn on others, and signs whose energies at its least evolved manifestation, are more likely to turn on themselves. Pisces is an interesting sign imo in that it can go either way or both ways - they can victimize others or they can drown their sorrows in self-destructive ways. This might be the mutability of the sign at play.

Lonake and Dreamweaver, here, here!!!

Well said both of you!

I will add at this point, let them swim away from time to time...

My eldest daughter's new gfriend is a Pisces, my daughter highly Piscean with an Aries sun, but I am, per my kids request, trying to help her young lady friend to know her self a bit better.

And in swimming is loving and letting go. Earth does not always do best with us Fish, as I am finding out with my Virgo bfriend. I have a Taurus moon and I adore all Bulls...I think that is a better match, earth wise for a Pisces, that is Taurus, than Virgo and especially Caps.

Anyway, I compared our lives to the Fish that we are...swimming always, always encountering everyting. We swim in a sea (of humanity) with all there is out there (emotions), always permeating us, always inside of us and outside of us and pushing us, and helping us swim and creating currents that we cant swim against, then freaky creatures come and swim with us and some try to eat us, others are lovely and help us.....

Yes let us swim....we like to feel protected when we are swimming.

For it is the emotions of others we [need] to escape from. We make the mistake constantly of making everybody else's crap our own, cause we are always in this sea.

Having said that, take us out of the sea and we will surely die.

Protect us in a protective swim, but give us enough room to swim freely...if this is accomplished with the Pisces then we are able to be creative, and love and nurture and take all of humanities bullcrap and send it back to source for healing~

t~

I dont know if anybody has ever figured out who wrote this, but I LOVE it!

To you Pisces - I give the most difficult task of all. I ask you to collect all the world's sorrows and return them to Me. Your tears are to be ultimately My Tears. The sorrow you will absorb is the effect of people's misunderstanding of My Idea, but you are to give them compassion that they may try again. For this the most difficult task of all, I give you the greatest gift of all. You will be the only one of my twelve Children to understand Me. This gift of Understanding is for you, Pisces, for when you try to spread it to humankind they will not listen.
... And Pisces stepped back into place.

beautiful!

Pisces have the most difficult task of all because they find themselves in the last stage of the universal man's evolution: they've learned the 11 lessons and the last, the 12th is compassion,self-sacrifice and unconditional love.

Aw maaaaan. Dang. Lonake, I wish there was a male version of you to explain it all. I've been trying so hard to rip my brain away from a Pisces man and then you go and make y'all seem so damn appealing again.

Good freaking luck Sand. My intense, volcanic Scorpio desire added to my charging like a wild horse Mars in Aries tendencies are not helping me feel sane while grappling with an elusive, gorgeous, gentle, mysterious Pisces man who WONT LET ME KNOW DIRECTLY WHAT HE WANTS!!!!! So I hope you have better luck than I.

My situation is very complicated though with many barriers of morality(whoa, right?) and such so if you are free and she is free, you're already ahead of me in the game.

Yuh, yuh, yuh. I got me some Pisces problems. No doubt about it. We are not alone though Sand. The internets is filled with stories of people finding themselves, arms outstretched like a sleepwalker, chasing around a Pisces. Apparently, some actually bag one! It really has happened! Maybe you will be one!

You can't bag a fish, I know, that's the trouble. You can only watch them swim around and hope they stay in your side of the pond. If you hook them and pull them out, they are no fun just flopping around on the rocks, gasping for air, but they are quite tasty fried, covered with garlic and butter, metaphorically of course. By fried I mean unclothed and by covered with garlic and butter I mean my in my hot little hands

To fellow Pisces Suns anonymidarkness & hippichick, am glad my post resonated with you Same here.

hippichick, I don't know your experiences but my romantic experience with Capricorn Suns is DOA. The lack of imagination and the hard time they have with opening up and being vulnerable, being romantic, the basic inability to just flow, is not seen as stable and admirable from my view; it ranges from being seen as grave to actually comatose. This is also how I relate to those with Sun/Saturn in hard aspect: not well. I don't feel comfortably contained with them, I feel as if in captivity. The two are not an easy mix even tho they're in technically compatible elements. What Neptune and Saturn have in common is misery and suffering, they see the romance in that, but where's all the fun??? Combining Neptune and Venus is closer to heaven on earth.

...

And sand, where is your P Moon? In Pisces would be an easier time of attracting Pisces Suns to you, and you to them. You will fall more naturally in line and get a chance to make it right. And a Pisces with a P Moon/Mercury/Venus in Taurus would fall nicely in line with you as well.

...

Hi redshift,
"and then you go and make y'all seem so damn appealing again."
---Are we now, ::batseyelashes:: You know every time I've started something with a Pisces it fizzles almost immediately; it's a big ocean out there and somehow we tend to get easily separated. As a Fixed sign I can sense the potential for true exasperation, esp considering that you're both Water, so the basic understanding is thought to be there always. When it's not then all you can sense are the basic differences between Fixed and Mutable. Can be maddening. Your best bet is if he's going through a crisis, to be his emotional rock and give him some sexual healing; that's how he can be.....bewitched. Keep him in your spell by making him stronger, since healing and empowering is what Scorpios can do very well. You two are Pluto + Neptune, so you know you have to go in deep with him here, no way around that. I'd say look for a space where you can just dive into him, where he needs it the most, utilizing the Scorpio eye for sore spots. This is when you feel comfortable crossing those barriers you mentioned, or if they somehow break down.

You are hilarious. Literally over here.
Guilty. I just said a lil prayer, saying sorry to every man I've led on a wild goose chase in the hopes of cementing something with me. It's not something I really think about tho, in my day-to-day, or when it's happening. I guess it's just natural, which is neutral for me, but bad news for them Yikes.

Oh would that I could offer sexual healing. Alas, I am taken by someone else, so platonic it must remain and this ladies and gentlemens is the problem. I can't walk away from him entirely, but I can't really fully open up either. I must suppress my main urge to connect body and soul and settle instead for mind and heart from afar. We connect, we talk, we think so loud at each other sometimes we forget to actually talk out loud, but we never get too close.

I don't know if it's difficult on his end or if everything is fine as far as he is concerned, because as you know, Pisces let on nothing, so it's a limbo land of murky swimming for me.

All joking aside, the gentle waves he creates, the soft lapping of the water around me when he swims by...it's the most beautifully addictive, peaceful feeling. Rapture of the deep. I understand fully, why anyone else would get caught up in the spell of the Pisces.

Piscean Sun (1st), Jupiter (2nd), Venus (2nd)

12th house Mars in Capricorn conj asc.

Neptune on 10/11 house cusp line.

We Pisceans are about fantasy, illusions, and unfortunately deception, disillusion.

We tend to live in a reality of what could possibly be as opposed to the reality of what is.

Pisceans often are similar to Voltaire's Pangloss character believing in ultimate optomism and seeing the best possible scenario despite usual occurance that the best possible scenario is a one in a million chance.

We're like Luke Skywalker believing in the goodness remaining in Darth Vader while erveryone else has condemned him as pure evil.

We tend look at life through Jung's collective unconscious. We try to connect on a telepathic level.

Of course each Piscean is colored by his or her plantary placements, aspects, and angle placements.

To bag a Piscean is to delve deeply into the profound and understand that we create fantasy because we want to believe in the good in people and distract others from the practical realities of life.

When Pisceans go wrong they use their ability to create fantasy and illusions in a negative way by deception and disillusion and often through alcohol and narcotics. Bad Pisceans exploit their ability to create fantasy like sirens can lure people into dangerous scenarios often without the victim recognizing what is happening.

Pisceans tend to be sign of those who are able to break barriers as we tend to be the msot universally accepted group under the zodiac.
