Is it just me or do Scoprios naturally love power games in the bedroom? We don't need the handcuffs etc it just comes naturally. I read somewhere that people love to be possessed by us

Isn't Christian Grey a Gemini? not a scorpio in 50 shades of grey.

I found some quotes, for my Merc wouldn't allow itself to read it,but I want to know what does Merc do in the writer's chart.

Thanks ali!

Aqua Merc o_o

And Moon,Mars in Leo. I feel so sad when I see my own sign dabbling in cheap, meaningless stuff. We do love heights and golden shades but sometimes we just don't care how we get to that point. #sigh
I mean,Leo Mars is the most creative incentive, when placed with originality, apparently.

The signs and planets I would associate with 50 shades of Grey, bondage and SM are Scorpio and Pisces, Pluto and some Uranus.

No problem I wasn't expecting a leo moon/mars either. Maybe because its in retrograde the her genre drifts into the blah. Or maybe neptune in Scorpio or Venus in Aqua opposite Mars in Leo. Uranus and Pluto in Virgo but Eros in Capricorn and Psyche in Scorpio, Eros in Cap makes me think of power struggle as much as Scorpio

I'm reading it!
Moon conjunct Pluto in Scorpio.
and Uranus and Neptune in house 8

Doesn't everyone secretly want the other person to do all the "work" It really seems that way in most people.

I can only take the lead if I am really into the person. AND THEN SOME if they respect me.
Well I finally found a guy that is both and I rock his world.

I've used cuffs on him a few times.

Yeah he likes me taking the lead. He says he like to feel controlled by me. And he likes me telling him what to do. So I've been keeping that in mind. (and he is more Scorp than I am)

And he tells me that he likes how I pull him in close when I kiss him. I didn't even realize I was doing this! It just comes natural with him.

I get this alot too.

Although, I have skimmed the book it was not for me. Too tame and not enough of the darker things I enjoy. But the popularity seems to be evident that women enjoy being dominated. For some reason, lots have guilt associated with that. I am really comfortable with many aspects of bdsm and none of it is degrading to my womanhood.

The signs I associate the most with BDSM, power games, etc.. are capricorn & scorpio. A bit of aquarius or gemini here and there defnitely plays a part too.

I definitely think that capricorn gets understated when it comes to this kind of stuff though. Maybe it's because of the cool, serious exterior

I think it is quite the opposite,Cap's sexual side is known, same with Scorp and Aries, all three being Mars' domain.

"50 shades" is a disgrace to art, literature, women, feminism and common effing sense. Not to mention the BDSM community. No zodiac sign/activity should be associated with this piece of utter $h*t book.

oh yeah, I definitely thought parts could of been done better.
And how Grey calls her "baby" in the bed room and such...REALLY? That's what a dominant guy says...to me that is cheesy.

and how she wanted to go again after loosing her v card....YEAH RIGHT!

I have to say that I don't think the book was very erotic. Did anyone else agree?

Sylvia Day has a trilogy called Crossfire that is also an erotic romance. The writing is better, though just about anything is when we're talking about Fifty Shades of Grey, lol. The characters are more fleshed out as well, no pun intended.

Haha. I've only skimmed through a chapter or so of this book in a Barnes and Noble. The character Christian does seem to have a Scorpio energy, as well as the whole plot of the novel in general.

Maybe The Sleeping Beauty Trilogy

I've only read or heard some passages from 50 SoG and a description of what it's like AND I only read part of one of the SB books (I think it was Beauty's Punishment) along with a detailed description of it (many years ago, my memory is vague on it now) but it seems similar with wealthy masters and submissive females. I recall finding it interesting, but the scenes got too repetitive for me (I recall sighing at one point and saying out loud, "Not another spanking!") that I got bored with it and turned it back into the library and never read anymore of it. But I'd guess it's better than 50 SoG...but then I've heard people say that even a lot of Twilight fanfic (one of which supposedly inspired 50 SoG) written by tweens is better than 50 SoG.

I'd still rather read Angela Carter. I prefer the way she writes female characters.
