I'm probably more toward the thick stump I was talking about. I'm average except I think I keep it real. So I'm not against anyone's weight, thin or not. Don't put words in my mouth. I'm just annoyed by fake people, who seem to beg, plead for attention. I hate fake gestures. Is it OK to be not so politically correct and call a duck a duck? I mean come on. If you didn't care what I had to say, you obviously wouldn't be posting anything about the comment. I just dislike how people try to play it off that they are naturally this or naturally that when they aren't. Why do people do that? My only conclusion is either a person needs a lot of attention, there fore probably low self esteem or they aren't very mature and think that's attractive. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ty4PhRWt1hU Like her in the video, why does she get so offended when a guy stares when that's what she's presenting? It's ridiculous. Lastly, did I say anything about you? Did I spell your sn out and say, "Hmmm that girl. Yes that one right there." Chill out.
Actually, it kinda was: quote: I've seen not so curvy girls say they are curvy by merely faking it til they make it. Like the for example, the bathroom pics with their backs arched and butt on the counter, the pics from above giving the illusion they have a chest, the double bras, the booster bras, the leaning forward trying to make them hang pics, the love cut dresses and cleavage shows, one leg crossed pose to make the illusion of large hips and a nice curve when in reality it's a thick stock. lol I mean, seriously...If you asked that person to stand straight face forward, you'd see a straight thick stock.
...that was clearly addressed at CRCRINCON ...and from your last post - one could say that you're projecting the things you dislike about yourself to others... cause that's the way you chose perceive the world - since those comments where hateful - intended to crush the self esteem of those that chose a different perspective on how they wanna perceive this world ("fake" - as you put it)... even tho - they chose a "healthy positive perspective"... - would have been understandable if they were in a state of negativism, a state of depression where they see only the negative side - which can hurt them or come as a trigger for others that can relate... but that was not the case - quite the opposite... The physical beauty standards have changed - but the standards don't apply to every individual - some like skinny girls, others prefer girls that show more curves (even more fat) - it's also understandable - that most people reject terms like "fat" a term threaten very negatively in the last decades... even tho - for hundreds of years "it was a standard for beauty" portraying a woman as being strong and healthy - the preferred mate (curvy medium fat)... As for "Photos" - didn't knew there "was a way you should behave wile taking a photo" in a recreational environment - it wasn't an ID/Passport photo - where you have to follow certain rules... everybody behaves "how they see fit in a photo" - some people hate photos, others are clowning around, others try to look their best and at studio - that's the main objective of any good photograph - "finding the best perspective for a specific subject"... the real fakes are those that use Photoshop, using body parts from other people or trimming their own - but i see nothing wrong in finding a position that advantages you - it's still you "the real you" - you wouldn't be more real if you pull-up your shirt and grab your fat zones... as if that's what represents you as individual - what others might see negative/disgusting in you... by that logic - if someone has an operation - they wouldn't be real unless they make every picture with the operation scar in clear sight... Photos are just that "photos" - a image of yourself in a certain posture... they have all kind of purposes - but since this is not a beauty contest i see no room for that type of criticism... it's not like they photochoped themselves. CRCRINCON - you really showed some sexiness and beauty in that shot you took... a natural beauty, that can make a lot man pick you instead of some 90/60/90 - whom can't glow as much as you... and none can take that from you. Very true - most women regardless of their bodyshape go thru so many health & self image issues. It will take time to accept urself & for those who already have they are very blessed. For me, having children did help me to accept myself as I am. I guess the physical body represents a side of ourself that we have to learn to accept one way or another or to change if we don't like the way it works. Being non-judgemental about oneself will prob allow us to be less judgemental about others. I do believe now that the physical body is a manifestation of how we feel internally and so if we feel beautiful then...ultimately it will show! And for you CRC that seems to be v true!! [/QUOTE] 7th Guardian - Thanks! Blessings to you. I agree! Photos in this type of format are supposed to be for fun! And there is nothing wrong with "trying" to look what you feel is the best in a photo! Thin, small, short, tall, curvy, WHATEVER - really I think most people are beatuiful and who doesn't want to play up their good parts. I love to see people show photos of themselves. Everyone is gonna have an opinon though! I draw people and so the curves and muscles on the hips, face, butt, arms, tilt of the head is fun for me to play with when taking and being in photos with friends. The one I posted was actualy taken by my husband and for my husband. Had no idea it would get such a response! lol! The internet and forums are a funny thing...people feel much more free to say what they want. And granted, I put myself out there, so I must be willing to receive people's positive and negative responses. But now, for the fun of it since there is an air of contention here, I just can't resist!!!! I think my Aquarius Moon in the 1st allows me to take on different looks. And my jupiter in the 2nd...one of the reasons I gain and lose weight...

I know its weird but i see some of myself in you if that makes sense. from picure to picture you look slightly different . us aquarians can make ourselves look like different people if we want.

I totally agree with you and yes it makes sense! I love the Aquarius aspects in our chart for many reasons, one being that versatility. Plus it can make us unpredictable and open minded too! ;-) IP: Logged |

5 feet 98 lbsI look pretty much like a rail fully clothed, but - you'd be very surprised if you saw me in a bathing suit. Never let anybody tell you that it's impossible to be short, thin AND curvy because it's total BS. Apparently I have a body that can launch ships and start wars, if the sometimes creepy reactions of men and hostile, jealous reactions of some women, are any indication. Personally I just see my body as average. Astrologically I have an ascendant that supposedly makes you tall, but I have mitigating chart factors that null and void all that. IP: Logged |

Another thing I've never understood, is women feeling insecure about their bodies in comparison to what they see online or in a magazine or on tv.Simply because, the overwhelming majority of that stuff is smoke and mirrors. They take a woman, make her pose a billion times in certain angles to make her body look like better than it is, then photoshop the hell out of those pics. None of that tihs is real which is why I never ever feel like I have to live up to some picture a person puts in front of me because I know that even the person in the pic doesn't look like that. The proof is in the pudding, and in reality - if they don't look like that when they step out of the shower, then it doesn't count to me. IP: Logged |
