My sister is soooo lazy. She has a Mars in Sagittarius as a singleton. I would think she would have alot of energy. We have talked about this alot.
Does Venus conjunct Asc make her prone to laziness? I think she has Venus as a singleton as well.
She was also the baby of the family.
Also, I have a Sagittarius moon and it drives me crazy that she doesn't open up. Her moon is in Capricorn in the 12th.What are indicators of being lazy.  IP: Logged |

Moon conjunct Venus...or maybe all those opposition to Jupiter.I could be wrong and am more than happy to stand aside and let the experts tackle this one, but these are what I first saw. Moon conjunct Venus can be a love for pleasure, sensuality, and taking it easy...like, being in love with comfort. It's not energetic. Jupiter is the planet of expansion, what brings us joy or energy, optimism and fortune. I know certain Jupiter transits like Jupiter-Venus can make you feel like procrastinating at worst and like everything will go your way rather than going out and doing things yourself. Another 'taking it easy' aspect. Her Mars is in Sag, which is her only fire planet. This cna be a culprit but, with MARS in a FIRE planet, this should kinda give her a way to overcompensate and be VERY energetic. But sometimes we undercompensate too. Also, Jupiter is in her 5th house of games, pleasure and fun. Ruler of her 10th house is in the 5th. She probably won't like doing anything she doesn't find entertaining, could be related to career. I could be wrong. It could easily mean that her career involves entertainment or children. Also, lack of squares. Squares=tension, action IP: Logged |

Lazyscarecrow, you did a really good job of describing her. Especially, "being in love with comfort" All that you said is how she is. Thank youI have some squares and they area pain but they do get me to get up and do something about the situation. IP: Logged |

A Jupiterian bucket (not much room for squared with this placement) - haven't seen that in a while ^^ - a House 5 singleton and that's where most of her energy is going (creativity, fun related activities). Most of the others planets are in house 11 (house of friends) and House 12 (the house of seclusion), even the ones left don't show much work related purpose - Sorpio being at home in Pluto and that in House 9 - so if spirituality didn't catch her attention by now she'll get in to that later...Her North Node is in Ascendant, in Aquarius - so it's all about her self in this life - wile her prior life was all about her relationship - and with SN she worked a lot for that and it looks like she learned her lesson... ^^ Don't envy your sis - only her soul know how much she worked in her previous life... I say mainly lack of squares combined with the jupiter opp sun. Jupiter sun afflictions can be really lazy and sometimes a total mooch too. IP: Logged |

lol, I don't envy her, but she'll like that you wrote that! 
She does put energy into school but other than that, she has no energy for anything else.
Thanks for all your insight. She loves to have fun, majority of her friends are Leos or I think all the people I have met that are associated with her have some placement of Leo.
She is majoring in Business but says she doesn't feel like its the path she should be going on. quote:

heeey she's my age! only differences are our moons, venuses and asc's.i hate that word lazy. I hate when people call me that too. But i just lack motivation for anything. And i feel almost stuck like i want to do things but i can't. i used to have energy though. always always!

 your sister has the same exact chart as mine !! except for the ascendant I'm a acancer ascendant but we have the same exact degrees for all the other planets!!!hmm, okay, sorry forthe overexcitement there, it's just weird seeing a chart similar to mine.
Anyway what do you define as lazy?

She is going to hate me lol because she is reading this too!
She would come over to my place after noon and hadn't eaten anything because she felt to lazy to cook. She would sometimes lay in bed for hours before getting up to do anything. She never wants to work out. Honestly, if it doesn't have to do with school or her nephews, she doesn't have the energy to do it. quote:

I can relate to not cooking anything. I don't cook when I'm by myself. I just don't see the point and find it depressing to eat alone. I love cooking for others though, making a nice meal and having people eat it and have feedback.
I can relate to some of this but I had never considered myself lazy, just slow, because to me it's not like I don't do things when I really want to do them. I don't do it when there are no reason good enough for me to do it and I do it when there are.
I guess to an extent I could be considered as lazy. I procrastinate a lot and always end up doing things when the dead line is some days after. I'm awfully bad at organizing myself and planning my day. Actually when it's school time, I make all kind of plannings and schedules and all but I never, ever, respect them.
When it comes to physical activity, I get tired easily. Some people are out all day long, the morning, the afternoon, and the evening, they're out again. Well I'm likely to just do one of these, then go back home and be exhausted. The same applies to sports and workout. I am lame at sports (which got me into some issues when I was younger at school and it was mandatory) I also always tell myself "oh you're going to work out 30 minutes a day, it's good for your health, blah blah.." but I never follow through.
The only activities where I get all fired up and have boundless energy are when it comes to romances, fun and travel. I get super excited about travelling and I can walk all day long when I do.
When it comes to studying or more intellectual work and activities, I have to be interested to invest myself in it. Not slightly interested but deeply interested in it. If I'm not, I will hardly do anything about it.
I can be slow, it takes me a long time to get things done.
I would say that overall I have no issues doing things I love and that appeal to me in a fun or interesting way. My energy level depends a lot upon my moods and my emotional state too.
I do things when they're of the utmost importance for me. When this happens, I can get really focused and will spend as much time needed to do it. if they're not I'm very unlikely to get motivated to do it, I'll just think "it can wait". My chart is the same as hers, except i'm a 25° cancer asc.
Moon Mercury Venus in the 7th
Sun Uranus, Neptune, Saturn in the 6th
Mars, Pluto in the 5th
Jupiter in the 12th
