I know that there was once a post done : Marriages by Sun sign. But am curious about marriges by Moon signs.Would they be similar?For instance,hypotheticaly speaking,I am a Cancer moon male and so, judging by what I know of myself and my dating experiences, my "marriage" list would be; 1.Cancer Moon
2.Pisces Moon
3.Virgo Moon
4.Aries Moon
5.Taurus Moon
6.Leo Moon
7.Scorpio Moon
8.Aquarius Moon
9.Libra Moon
10.Sagittarius Moon
11.Capricorn moon
12.Gemini Moon. So,hypotheticaly, I am most likely to marry a Cancer/Pisces moon and divorce a Capricorn/Gemini Moon. How would your list look like? And, just for curiosity, is there a study that has been conducted for this type of research btw? IP: Logged |

Ooh!! I'm a cancer moon as well and your list looks good  I haven't seen many charts of people around me yet, but I agree that Pisces and cancer moon are nice together lol <3. Maybe soulmates, if their chart is compatible overall. And I definitely don't get along very well with some people I know with Sag moon and cap moon. I would love to meet other water moons though  no one understands emotions like us. IP: Logged |

AscTaurus : why not with another cancer moon ?? I think this aspect is awesome - conjunct moons. Prince William and Kat has both cancer moons and they live happily everafter.Achyl: Ooh, as a saggi moon I did not have a gd relationship with my ex-bf who was a cancer moon. And at that time I did not know anything abt astrology stuff but broke up bcos of intuitiom that he was not the right person. Felt the emotions did not merge together. IP: Logged |

Surprringly, I have a lot of conjunct moons in marriages in the family ie parents are both virgo moons, aunty & uncle -virgo moons, bro & partner are gemini moons. and a pair of taurus moons also. Wow.IP: Logged |

This is interesting.I also agree that most people date and eventually marry a person who shares their moon sign, if person A's sun isn't conjunct person B's moon sign. But as an Aries moon, I am almost positive that I do not see myself with another Aries moon especially in close conjunction. That would be toward the bottom of my list, unless they had some other stuff in the chart to tone it down. I could if they were on the Pisces cusp, but not conjunct. I am positive that Scorpio moon would top a Pisces moon's list, or vice versa. Right now the top Moon sign on my list would be Sagittarius moon. And some others. I dunno, I need to think on this one, would love to hear others lists. IP: Logged |

2. Leo
3. Gemini
4. Aries
5. Libra
6. Scorpio
11.Taurus
12. Cancer Libra and Aries share the same spot. My experience with Aries moon is the guy/woman has a sudden temper which burns. I don't think I'd like that in a marriage. Libra moons can be over the top about being pretty or good looking and expect the same from the partners. Unless the partner has the same good looks ... IP: Logged |

I can see myself doing the best with these Moon signs in marriage. But I doubt I'll ever be committed enough, or really stable enough to marry... 01. Capricorn Moon

12. Leo Moon Gemini and Leo Moons have always caused the most emotional distress for me and we do not usually have the strongest connections. Surprisingly I do get along well with Cap Moons and my own Moon sign as well. But I threw Aries in for my top 3 since I have my Moon in the Aries duad, and I really admire the emotional zest and passion of these people. IP: Logged |

I have a Capricorn Moon, and my top half would definitely have to be:1. Pisces Moon
2. Leo Moon
3. Sagittarius Moon
4. Capricorn Moon
5. Virgo Moon (unless they have a Scorpio Sun...I've had quite a few bad experiences with many different people with that combination)
6. Taurus Moon Others: 7. Aries Moon
8. Gemini Moon
9. Scorpio Moon
10. Aquarius Moon
11. Cancer Moon
12. Libra Moon I like Cancer Moons as friends, but I don't think I could be in a long term relationship with them...but you never know. Scorpio Moons can be nice, but some of them are waaaay too emotionally manipulative for me. I do have an eighth house moon, though... Aries Moons make good friends, but they are not what I look for in a partner. Aquarius Moons are very hit or miss for me. I like Gemini Moon people for the most part, but again...not what I look for in a partner. Most Libra moon people seem to rub me the wrong way, more so than any other moon sign. IP: Logged |

lol at sand haha that wat i b doin Most to least favorite: 1. virgo moon - synastry reason behind is that it usually conjuncts my moon in leo but it is more exciting than being around another leo mooner. i draw LOTS of people with virgo moon. I also love virgo placements. Anything in virgo=love. 2. scorpio moon - trines my sun and sextiles my outer planets. I think the reason why i like it better than pisces moon is that i have pluto rising and also moon square venus and moon square pluto are pretty intense aspects . 3. aries moon - i seem to only like this one with fire suns for some reason. hate it with water suns, too emotional/impulsive. love it, though. two of my best friends were aries sun, aries moon, and leo sun, aries moon. Very fun, energetic, forgiving...eternal kids at heart like me. 4. taurus moon - lots of close friends with this moon as well. not sure why. i love taurus moons 5. leo moon - I like other leo moons . I find them easygoing with a good sense of humor. 6. gemini moon - so fun and talkative. who wouldnt love a gemini moon, however i dont draw them all that much. a bit too cerebral, emotionally reserved, and all over the place for me at times.
Moon signs I dont really like, or am indifferent to (i dont hate any moon signs, so this is in no specific order)
1. libra moons - sweet, but too shy and cerebral 2. aqua moons - very interesting, but too cerebral for me 3. cancer moons - i dont mind them, but i cant read them and dont feel too connected with them emotionally. also find them confusing and frustrating. Why cant they be more straightforward!! 6. sag moon - i like sag moons, but theyre not my favorite. sag placements in general are not my favorite 7. cap moon - i dont mind cap moons, i just hate that they seem so nice at first, and then i find out they're prissy, catty and kind of evil. haha. i also dont like their emotional reservedness. 8. Pisces moon - we usually have some kind of connection, but i find pisces placements TOO dreamy and romantic for me. I also find them too reserved.. and serious, too.

The idea is not to say that you'll get "married" per say. The theory is hypothetical: which moon sign would, if you were to give it a whirl, would you most likely to marry.1 being the favourite and most likley to stay married to and then (in decreasing order) 12 being the one you are most likely to get "divorced" with or not picture yourself marrying. This is fascinating because, if you were to resist finding out someone moon sign whilst you are dating, you'd be suprised whom you have a strong bond with coz we all have "do's and dont's- as far as moon connections are concerned. For another astro junky I know, she has her Moon in Aries, her list was; 1.Gemini
2.Sagittarius
3.Virgo
4.Scorpio
5.Cancer
6.Libra
7.Capricorn
8.Taurus
9.Pisces

11.Aquarius

1. Pisces moon (falls in my 8th. I love our deep conversations)
2. Aqua (falls in my 7th I love their sense of humor)
3. Scorpio moon (all the ones I have come across were incredibly intelligent)
4. Leo moon (love how fun and confident they are)
5. Gemini moon (falls in my 11th and we can talk about anything)I have a Cancer moon and in theory, another Cancer moon sounds so nice for the long haul, but I do not seem to attract them.
