Hello,

I was just wondering what aspects in the natal chart and/or house positions of the planets point towards a person being secretly lonely (hidden on the inside - not something everyone would suspect)? The issue is, secretly, I am very lonely. To be quite honest with you - I don't have very many friends. In fact, the friends that I have and who I'd like to communicate with in my daily life all mostly live abroad which obviously prevents us from meeting frequently since I can only travel abroad 2-3 times a year. Also, I will have to say that 85% of my friendships in my life so far have been fleeting and highly disappointing and that I don't even have a best friend (I used to have several but we grew apart - I don't regret this, I am actually happy that it happened because it allowed me to develop my own persona but nevertheless I would at least maybe like to have a good friend or two!). The other issue is that, my life is flooded with meaningless acquaintances and we often communicate only on the subject of pointless small talk! It is really frustrating and I don't like it, which causes me to be even more lonely. So what in my natal chart jumps out to you that seems like it would encourage my loneliness? I personally thought that 11th house Moon lead to good relationships with women, but quite frankly I have had horrid relationships with girls of my age and can only get along well with women much much older than me. (I am a young lady in my early 20's.)

Will post my natal chart here and maybe you can help me clarify this!

Thank you in advance

Hi asclibrasagsun,

Well, your Moon squares Mars, so that could be the reason you don't always get along with women, especially those who are closest to you.

Other than that, I don't see anything particular pointing to difficulties with friendships, your 11th house ruler, the Sun, is well aspected, and the Moon isn't that afflicted either, with a trine from Venus and Mercury.

Maybe Saturn in the 4th causes that feeling of loneliness, since the 4th house is a very sensitive point in the chart.

Maybe your family isn't supportive of you? That would contribute to the feeling of loneliness.

By the way, nice to see a fellow Virgo Mooner, our Moons are conjunct by 1°. =)

Oh, also, transiting Neptune in your 5th, opposes your Moon in the 11th, and squares your Mars in the 8th.. so there's confusion/deceit in relationship areas, mainly in romance and friendships..

So that's definitely an important thing to consider.

PLUS tSaturn is in your 1st house, which can point to hard times related to your "self" and image. You're probably undergoing a transformation that may not be pleasant, but in the end it'll teach you a few lessons.

Hang in there! This too shall pass. =)

Alright first, thanks so much for the help! SECOND OF ALL, IT IS SO NICE TO MEET ANOTHER VIRGO MOON HIIII
As a virgo moon, would you say you like taurus moons? I LOVE THEM - is this weird? My favorite designer has one and she is just so earthy and a true inspiration to me. Another friend I met not to long ago has a taurus moon (we hit it off right away, sadly she lives in another land). But yes for the most part, my family is unsupportive of me I would say! I want to work in the creative arts/fashion field and they really wish I was going to law school instead (graduating with a degree in a liberal arts major this year) so this is causing some conflict. I am very hard on myself, and critical too - to be precise! Always make sure I am dressed very polished and cleanly - balance and perfection (I kind of love it)

When you said "Oh, also, transiting Neptune in your 5th, opposes your Moon in the 11th, and squares your Mars in the 8th.. so there's confusion/deceit in relationship areas, mainly in romance and friendships.. "
It made me think of the person I am in love with - I have feelings for him, have been in love with him for over a year but I am not sure how he feels about me and although I suspect that he loves me too, I am way too afraid to confess anyways. Lots and lots of confusion on how to act it out

About Saturn in the 4th, I really want to have a stable family life? Does this at all point to that? Or will it make it difficult to achieve? The fact that there are no planets in the 7th or 5th houses make me very concerned. Will they prevent me from getting married or having a true love relationship?

Thanks for your help I appreciate it

My first thought was before I looked at your chart was. You must have saturn in house 4 and that was just what you had. Your chart is not a loneliness chart. Wherever you where in your life you will meet new interesting people. But its when you close the door when you come home you got problem and you feel you're alone. So if you feel you're alone push you out and you will find many friend. You're chart show that you're an very social person and friends or other people are important to you. You must work to come out from your home.

Ive neptune in house 4 and when I close my door at home my fantasy and fiction sometimes take to much place. I need to take me out and find new friends all the time. Ive like you my mooon in house 11. If I lose one friend it doesnt matter because I have many other friends.

Popcorn, thank you so much!

Do you think that saturn in 4th house has negative implications for family life?

Haha you're welcome.

I don't know any Taurus Moon people personally, so I cannot say.

But I definitely don't think it's weird, it's actually quite normal, they're Earth Moons, too, so we feel 'in sync' with them. =)

Sounds like what the majority of young adults go through, conflicts with family about the future job, etc.

How Virgo Moon-ish of you! I'm not a cleanfreak at all, must be my Gemini rising. I don't mind a bit of chaos.

Yep, same thing happened to me.
Didn't end well.
I got my heart broken and now I'm trying to get over it and heal.

Good luck, be honest but don't expect too much under a Neptune transit.

Yes, it means that you take family life seriously and *may* encounter a few problems on the way to achieve that stability, but then again, who doesn't? Just that you probably take it more seriously because it means so much to you.

Having an empty 5th and 7th house isn't a bad thing. It's quite common and it doesn't mean you won't have a (happy) love life or that you won't get married. Look at the planets that rule these houses, and what they do. It will help you get an idea of what to expect in these areas.

Loneliness is the state of the mind dear. Once you fluxuate those chemicals around to balance, your whole perspective changes. I have been in this position and still visit it from time to time. It is usually when I am down on something in my own life that I have nothing to offer anyone else. And if you have some sort of ego trip like I do, and everyone else has someone else (or so it seems) that will also cause the state of loneliness. The brain is a powerful organ. Sleep, eat, meds, exercise all account for feeling good. And there are days no one will be around just because that is how the world works. The poster who stated relationships with family is a huge factor, and if you are a shy person doesn't help much either. Life sucks for the most part. Find your happy medium and put your mind in the state of being fulfilled with what you do. It makes a world of difference.

Doux Rêve, thanks again!

How long does the neptune transit usually last? Meeting someone new under this transit is probably not a good idea either right? (so far all of the new people I have tried to meet have been proving to be pretty disappointing which causes me to go back to this man again!)
