I don't know a lot about Chiron, but I do know people usually refer to it as "The wound that never heals".

I was talking to my mom one day and I told her I have NN in my 5th and she said that's not that bad. But once I brought up the fact that I have Chiron in my 5th house she said, "Now that might be a problem."

How does Chiron in the 5th house affect one's love life (and things related to the 5th house)?

chiron is a wound in the house in which it resides. The 5th house would be in the spontaneous way that children act. Picture a child twirling around, happy to be alive, free and creative.

That is the 5th house. That part of you would have the Chrion wound imo You would struggle with your freedom to play and let loose

We all have a Chiron. It is just in a different place

Yes, Ami is right.

Chiron in the 5th here and I cannot really "have fun" or be creative or "shine".

It's a bit like there's no creative life (Sun, Leo).

Not sure about the romance department, I'd be more worried to have Chiron in the 7th, if anything.

Chiron in the 5th would probably point to issues with children..

I do have a problem with letting loose and having fun. I've also realized I have problems with relationships. It's like I'm romantically deficient. I've realized that 98% of the guys I've gone after have dogged me out or belittled me. Then there is the 2% of guys who like me and I run away in fear of intimacy.

What does your Venus do with Saturn? Anything?

Oh, I hope I don't have issues with children. I like children.

I can definitely be creative and I do have my shining moments.

Yeah. I have Venus square Saturn.

I didn't think the aspect meant very much since Venus is in Gemini and Saturn is in Aries and the orb is pretty wide.

Venus square Saturn for sure.

People with hard aspects between Venus and Saturn often have a hard time in romance.
I've seen it time and time again.
Late bloomers, often, and insecure, fearful of other people when it comes to intimacy.

It does get better with age, though.

So don't worry!

Just open up yourself to love.

What is the orb, Sweetie? What does your moon do, with aspects?

chiron in the 5th isn't connected to not being able to loosen up, that'll be coming from somewhere else in the chart.

Chiron was still able to move but it caused him pain. Wherever he sits in the chart, it says nothing about "restriction". But, it does mean when you engage in the house activity that you'll probably suffer in some way.

Is there any way I can overcome the suffering?

well Chiron overcame his through giving up his immortality ~ he died. But metaphorically, it means that we can stop suffering when we accept we are mortal/human.

In other words, when we stop thinking/feeling/believing that something can go on the same way forever....we might also have to accept we can't be the hero in that area of life, well not indefinitely at least. I think it's sometimes about not beating yourself up about any mistakes that are made too.

Chiron's wounds are accidental, not deliberate. He had a rough start in life but turned himself around and made good use of his life. He was wise because of what he learned. He was also trusted. He wasn't rowdy like the other centaurs and was much more human in his temperament.

Janah ~ I've got chiron in my 5th and it conjuncts my moon. The one thing that upsets me more than anything is that I can't feed every kid on the planet. And I'm being serious when I say this, I have major conflict that I can't take care of the kids who are suffering. Even if I managed to save ten, it wouldn't be enough...nothing would. I genuinely do suffer when I think about how some kids have to go without. Any documentaries about badly run orphanages and I'm in bits for weeks.

I've had kids of my own so I haven't been denied them. I'm always being creative, no problems in that area of life at all. But the suffering of kids ~ my own or others, is a major problem for me.

I get it now. I think self-expression might be a problem for me. I'm going to have to overcome any obstacles related to the 5th house because my NN is also there.

I have Mercury[9th] trining chiron so self expression isn't so much of an issue for me. The best way to find your outlets for Chiron [and any other planet] is to look at the planets that aspect it. Check the aspect itself, the planet involved and the house that planet resides in.

You're very young, if I am not mistaken. Don't assume your teenage years are a blueprint for the rest of your adult life life.

And don't go after guys, unless you have a thick skin, which you obviously don't have.

By the way, I have studied the chart of someone with Chiron and NN in the 5th. This person has children, one of them with special needs. As a result, this person became very much involved in the special needs community and has helped craft laws to benefit and protect special needs children and adults. This is a life path that is very beautiful and rewarding.

It doeson't mean this is what will happen to you. You may express these aspects differently.

This is intriguing stuff and I really want to know how Chiron will play out for me, but I can only tell with time.

A good career option for you would be to be a recreational therapist, or a music therapist.

Hello Ami and everyone!

As you know, I am very new to astrology. So here is my 2 cents, I have my chiron in 28 gemini 48'23" (not sure what the other numbers are for) in the 5th house. I just searched more about chiron in the 5th house from the older threads, actually it's an old thread Ami posted hehe. She said,"That is the 5th house. That part of you would have the Chrion wound imo You would struggle with your freedom to play and let loose." so I remembered myself as a child, I was a very wild, tomboyish girl who would never come home until it was pitch black out. I had a lot of freedom in that sense. However, as many changes took place in my family, I have gotten a lot of responsibility and pressure over the past couple of years. I often felt suffocated because life seemed and was so arduous. It was almost a contrast between all the freedom I had during childhood and the unforeseen responsibilities and pressure I have had to deal with as a teen and adult. I also felt much of myself was in a cage and could not express the real me. BUT life has gotten a lot better since then and I feel great though there are times when I get the blues but who doesn't experience the bad times right? Sorry about the essay-long post!!! There you have my 2 cents haha
