Topic: I need to apologize to the Venus in Cap/Moon in Cap people

Well, I had a very unexpected chance to talk to one with whom I've had troubles, and it turns out, much to my shock, that I wasn't actually being avoided/had not actually overloaded at all.This happened with a few people today, after I'd had fights with others (different people). I did apologize to them (quickly, briefly, not emotional), and it went well. I'm going to actually have a talk with one person (non-Cap) soon. I think that honestly, my having anxiety issues is really causing me to distort things and not see reality. I feel that talking it over may help both sides understand where I go wrong and how I should correctly interpret things. I feel like a bleeping moron, but I am hoping that this will really help me in not distorting things and seeing things as they are, not as anxiety makes them out to be. So, I apologize to the Venus in Caps/Moon in Caps, for the times that I've said hurtful things/have been unkind and unfair to you guys. IP: Logged |

I don't need an apology, I'm just glad the cloudy sky is starting to clear up for you  cos, well, it got to the point where any mention of either placement had you going on about your co-workers or whoever they are. And that got to be tiresome cos I kept thinking, and sometimes writing too, that you need to have a chat with them. I could tell it was v.frustrating for you.  Anyway, congratz. Hope they don't p!ss you off again (!)

you didn't p!ss me off; I appreciate your honesty and I feel too that this is a big wake-up to me as to just how strong my distortions are (I have an anxiety disorder); I knew that they were there, but not just how far they went or how powerful and I'm grateful to you guys here at LL for being supportive and honest IP: Logged |

that's what I am learning In all honesty, it really wasn't them or me. It was the issues that I have--distortions. They aren't bad people, and neither am I. For all of the pain and anxiety that I've been through, maybe this will help me learn some things in a new way, in a way that I need to learn them: by encountering 'the other' and seeing them in a different light.
