Topic: Jupiter Opposite ASC

Today Jupiter is exactly opposite ASC and has entered my 7th H. Out of the blue an old romantic fling contacted me and told me, "you've always been on my mind." Thats flattering in all, but weird, I haven't heard from this Leo Sun in like 2 years. Its gotta be Jupiter conjunct Desc? Anyone else experienced this transit? IP: Logged |

When I received this transit, Jupiter conjunct my Descendant, I became seriously involved with an infatuating new person in my life for the first time in over a year. They introduced me to new friends, made me feel so much happier. It was a blessing to begin with but unfortunately things got a little bumpy after that... IP: Logged |

Nice! This will come to me soon when Jupiter gets to 15*. Hope it goes well, as I thought Jupiter opposse asc could bring weight gain. I try to stay active but hurt my foot recently and havent been able to go on runs ):IP: Logged |

Jupiter was opposite my ascendant a couple of months ago, the progressed Moon was also conjunct the progressed Decendant at exactly the same time; nothing happened. IP: Logged |

Jupiter crossing the descendant does not bring a potential spouse right away, nor does it always happen. First of all, the marriage opportunity doesn't fully happen until Jupiter has gone back and forth in the 7th house, doing it's work. And that takes about 1 year, so please don't think crossing the descendant means a ring on the finger within a month or two. Secondly, look at your chart. What do YOU have in the 7th house? Nada? Well, maybe nothing will happen. Do you have planets there that are squared or opposed by other planets? That could interfere with Jupiter's work. What is the house ruler and what it is doing? Is Jupiter connecting to it in any way? When I said it is a good time to find a partner and get married, this is a general statement which applies to almost everyone. However, the particular chart still needs to be taken into consideration. Nothing in astrology is black and white.

Great info! I have venus in the 7th in Gemini as well, so Jupiter will eventually conjunct natal Venus. But I don't plan on getting married anytime soon. I may possibly move in with my boyfriend at some point but that's probably it.
