Ami Anne, can you give me descriptions of mercury in 12th, ruler of 12th in 12th and ruler of 4th in 12th please? I have mercury conjunct ascendant though. Thanks for your response. IP: Logged |

I’ve got Mercury in the 12th conjunct my Asc. All in the sign Sagittarius. The conjunction to the Asc gives me a very strong mind, I’m always thinking things through and figuring them out. I’m big on analysis, and like to have a clear mental grasp on concepts and how things are organized. And yet at the same time I’m a total fantasy prone day dreamer. I can be a mental escape artist in that when the world gets to be too much for me I can ’escape’ into a private sanctuary in my mind. I think pictures as well as words, and when I’m doing my day dreaming it’s like seeing a movie in my mind. I also love metaphysical topics like astrology and psychic phenomena. Can you relate? I have the opposite sign placements, Mercury in Gemini, 12 house. I also love day dreaming but I tend to think of words as pictures and sometimes my mind may not be very clear :P I guess it depends. I have a deep reluctance in expressing my feelings and thoughts to other people unless I am very close to then, and even then I tend to withdraw many things to myself. Not sure if that is a cancer moon thing though

Yes I can relate. In my chart they are all in the sign of Cancer. I am a big daydreamer (but have a lot of Neptune aspects as well). I am always very restless in my mind. I think about a lot of things.. doing things...and moving quickly to the next new thing haha. A few years ago I always thought I had Gemini rising, but that turned out the be Mercury conjunct ASC, I guess. Did you have the same thing?IP: Logged |

The 12th House Mercury is one animal. The Mercury conj the ASC is quite another. If the mercury is situated in the 12th house but within 10 degrees of the ASC, it counts as conj the ASC------------------
