A pattern I've noticed among the Air Sun people I know is that they usually don't embody their Moon sign energy. I think because the Moon rules emotion and Air Suns, generally, aren't too comfortable with emotion. Most of the people who seem nothing like their Moon are Air Suns. I can still see the Moon in my Air Sun friends but it's in the way they process things and not their emotional energy. Hard to explain. Like an Aquarius with an Aries Moon might process things spontaneously and honestly, but may rarely get very angry or heated like the typical Aries Moon. I think it's a way to kind of factor out the emotional component for them, rationalizing their Moon in a way.On the other hand, Fire Suns seem to really act out their Moon signs, in general. Which makes sense cause Fire is the opposite of Air and Fire Suns tend to be very instinctual (and instincts are expressed through the Moon). They may not be gushy sensitive types but most the Fire Suns I know, including myself, embody their Moon energy in a strong way or another. Is there anything to my theory? Do you see this in people you know or yourself? ------------------ Check out My Astrology Blog: http://astroarena12.blogspot.com IP: Logged |

Never thought about that but it does make sense to me.I know one Aqua girl with an Aries Moon and I have NEVER seen her angry or even irritated. She does have a Libra ASC so appearances mean a lot for her but still.. I was shocked when I saw she had an Aries Moon cause my mother has one and she is VERY Aries.. She's got a Leo Sun! A Gemini Sun girlfriend of mine has the Moon in Cancer and while she is quite sensitive and nurturing, she is very ficke in love.. I do think her Moon is quite strong but the Gem Sun is definitely prominent, too. Another Gem girl had Moon in Aqua and she didn't seem detached or rational at all. Not calm or cool, like most Aqua Moons are.. probably something else in her chart though. Over the top kinda person. Oh and one Sag friend with a Cap Moon.. She seems SO Cap it's scary. Definitely not your typical happy go lucky Sag. Hmm.. well, I'm pretty sure Fire Suns do express their Moons easier/more because they're naturally emotional people, so, good job on the theory!

The sun absolutely has everything to do with the way the moon is expressed!! I wouldn't say that air suns are disconnected from their moons so much as disinterested. Not that emotions don't matter it's just that It's much more fun to logically arrive at an emotion for them than to feel their way to it. I would say the sign their mercury is in is more prevalent to how they handle how they feel than their moon... odd but just my experience. My fiance has an aqua sun/virgo moon and he's definitely deep like an earth moon but his mental faculties come to play long before his emotions get to the table.------------------ Leo ASC, Pis Sun, Tau moon IP: Logged |

Well, they don't have to embody it,Moon or Sun. It is the rising that needs this... Planets are power balls, you play with them. I haven't really noticed this. IP: Logged |

Libra Sun, Virgo Moon. Mercury in Scorpio.I feel like I can easily and eloquently put into words my deepest emotions, regrets, sentiments. But just because I really recognize these feelings, doesn't mean I always know what to do with them, how to change them.

I have been too much of my Cancer moon and not enough of my Gemini stellium(Sun, mer and venus) I think that childhood abuse can push someone into his moon sign.------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

My husband is Gemini Sun in the 3rd house. His Moon Taurus therefore is in the 2nd house. He often seems more like a Taurus then a Gemini to me given his emotional, stubborn, grounded, determined, food loving, ways. He also is very slow to making up his mind and thinks things through for a very long time. He also has quite the Taurus look to him. Bull allll the way emotoionally! So I'm not so sure about this at least in what I have seen with my husband. IP: Logged |

not in my case. i'm an aquarius sun and ascendant with taurus moon, and i definitely identify with my moon sign. its weird because linda goodman's description of a taurus sun man matched me %100.but at the same time so did the aquarius man description.IP: Logged |

The problem is that I don't know how a Pisces is supposed to act. I think I'm Piscean in my relationships to an extent, but I think I come across more like an Aquarius. I'm no girly-girl, that's for sure.

also i would like to add that you may not always see the moon in people because thats a side we may only feel comfortable showing to those closest to us.IP: Logged |

I agree with this, I have Pisces Asc, Libra Sun and Leo moon. I often wonder if my moon is on vacation or something, I feel it sometimes in the sense that I like to be priority with other people and feel a little selfish like they should give me more attention, but that's about it, I don't think I show this, I think I just feel it. I have a lot of pride but I don't let it show. I really think my Pisces Asc is the one that come out the most out of all of my placements. People would tell you that I'm very quiet. I also think I display a lot of my Mercury in Scorpio, I feel that strongly too.IP: Logged |

My moon is strong and causes me a lot of problems. I used to not think that I related to it at all, but I really do. I don't relate to all of it, but some of it, definitely. IP: Logged |

Hmmm, guess my theory didn't hold too much weight then. Or maybe it's just that Air Suns express their Moon through that more rational filter? ------------------ Check out My Astrology Blog: http://astroarena12.blogspot.com IP: Logged |

well its not even that. its more that we may only feel comfortable showing our moons to those closest to us. as for me I think you'll only see my moon if you come into my home. I'm a taurus moon so if you were to come into my house you would see me just chilling out and listening to some chill music and eating lol IP: Logged |

Makes sense. My Moon is angular so I feel like it's a bit more apparent to those who don't know me as well, although not intentional on my part. I LOVE Taurus Moons, by the way. ------------------ Check out My Astrology Blog: http://astroarena12.blogspot.com IP: Logged |
