Topic: What Mercury signs go best with your Mercury sign?

Obviously I got the notion to start this thread from Frankie's post, but it got me thinking about what kind of Mercury I like best in people...I have Mercury in Aries in the 11th, square Saturn and Neptune (7H) and conjunct Sun and Venus in the 11th too. I like Mercury in Gemini or Virgo, Mercury in Capricorn, and Mercury in Scorpio and Mercury in Leo best. I don't think I've met another Mercury in Aries ever.
a couple Mercury in Taurus' I met were friendly but they didn't pick up on my wit fast enough, Cancer is too "between the lines" for me, Mercury in Libra I do like but we seem to have different tastes and my tone of voice can get on their nerves pretty easily. Mercury in Sag scares me whenever they speak, but since I'm a fellow fire mercury I wonder if that's how people feel listening to me LOL! I've never known Mercury in Aquarius, but I'm curious. And Mercury in Pisces are too similar to me but in all the wrong ways. :/ IP: Logged |

Yeah, mercury in aries scares me when they speak, but it definitely depends on our synastry and composite. I have several friends with mercury in aries and sun in aries whom i love dearly and dont scare me at all.
Same goes for all the other mercury signs.But, I have noticed, that no matter our compatibility, that's saying---our synastry and composite could be absolutely horrible---if they have mercury in a feminine sign, especially water, I will not have a problem appreciating the way they talk and the things they say  ---from a mercury in cancer

I find that I communicate best with other air signs. They tend to have an easier time understanding me. Or tolerating my conversational habits. LolI like Aquarius mercury especially because of their (brutal) honesty/ bluntness. I like knowing I'm getting the 100% truth no matter what, despite how I may feel, I'll always appreciate that trait in someone. (Mercury Gemini) IP: Logged |

Lotsa my friends have air Mercuries, so it goes good with my Libra Mercury! It's easy to talk to, bounce back and forth, gossip, etc. I've been all G with Cancer/Scorpio Mercuries...even if it doesn't """flow""" as well. Aries Mercury is qreat, as is Taurus.  IP: Logged |

I have Aquarius. I usually get along the best with Libra Mercury people. And also, despite the fact that they are in squaring signs, I usually get along extremely well with Taurus Mercury people as well. I also usually get along well with Cancer, Pisces and Gemini Mercury most of the time.I don't usually get along with Scorpio Mercury people at all, and I usually only get along with the more Cancer influenced Leo Mercury people. Capricorn Mercury people are hit or miss for me, some are really nice, but some are really flat out rude. Virgo Mercury people are okay, I find them tolerable...Sag Mercury people are funny, and Aries Mercury people...well, it's better to stay on their good side, that's all that I'll say about them. Air and Earth Mercury.
The communication with these folks is a lot easier than with the very emotional Water and kind of aggressive Fire.On the top of the list are Mercury in Libra, Mercury in Virgo and Mercury in Taurus.
On the bottom: Mercury in Sagittarius, Mercury in Cancer and Mercury in Pisces. edit: I have a Virgo Mercury conjunct Venus in the first house conjunct the ASC square Mars (Mercury forms aspects with almost all of my planets) IP: Logged |

I have mercury in pisces retrogade in 4th House conjunct sun(4H),saturn(4H),venus(5H) square pluto(1H),trine moon(8H),oppose chiron(10H). Well I get along really well with mercury in scorpios.They are sarcastic,quite deep as well,are witty as well.I also find them interested in taboo subjects which I also find interesting.I can also hone my arguing skills by arguing with them.I get along really well with mercury in gemini.In my view their wit is unmatched,even when chatting with them in fb and social networking sites the way they chat seems so animated.I get along with the blunt,loud and funny mercury in sagittarius as well.These were the best ones.I get along fine with mercury in virgo,libra and pisces. Mercury in aries are blunt,I can also get blunt so we argue a lot.I find mercury in leo bossy,mercury in cancer too sensitive and childlike,mercury in capricorn too quite.I havent met any mercury in taurus and aquarius. ...as one with such placement - i can explain that XD - Mercury in Taurus might be the worst placement for somebody who's gonna give a speech (especially one that's improvised) wile being in the spotlight - and Mercury in Leo should be the best.. J.F. Kennedy had Mercury in Taurus as well - and in his position (U.S. president) - he was very prepared, but still - he c couldn't be natural like a Leo (most - at least) in his speeches.
