Men obviously express their sexuality through their masculinity (mars), but how does this translate for women?Mars is widely considered the planet of it, but I would think that a women's Venus would play more of a role for her as that is her sense of beauty, femininity, and attractiveness. So all you women out there! Which one of these planets in your chart do you believe influences your sexuality more? (FYI for the purpose of discussion I am not taking into account the 5th and 8th houses.) ------------------

I think my Venus is how I view sexuality, love, my attractiveness, and colors how I flirt and USE my sexuality to gain partners...
but in the act itself, it's definitely my Mars in Pisces that plays the role.

Right, but wouldn't a women not feel very sexy if she thought she wasn't beautiful (venus)?

Having such a masculine mars sign - in Aries. I'd say my sexuality is more - Gemini which is my Venus sign. I have to talk a a lot to someone in order to like them. I don't go just by appearances. But once I like someone I go full force like an Aries Mars  IP: Logged |

I didn't mean it that way 
What I'm trying to say is, if they felt like they were less attractive (venus), they would have a harder time expressing their sexuality, no? ------------------

I would say this:Mars in gemini- Is generally how I talk and relate to others--men and women. phase 1 Sun in Cancer- Is what makes me feel content.
phase 2 Venus in Leo- Is how I express my love and gestures to either people, who are my family, or the guy I'm in love with. phase 3 My mars, true node and sun all in the 8th house make me pretty passionate, firey, and thirsty. But it's not obvious when you first look at me. It takes me time to expose that part of myself. (I have asc/moon in scorpio.) phase 4 This is how I get going...I listed my phases in love from aquaintance to sexuality.  IP: Logged |

I agree. There are women who aren't classically pretty but are very sexy. And some classically pretty girls that make you want to yawn. Therefore sexiness has nothing to do with outer appearances. I guess it has to do with the vibe she gives off. IP: Logged |

Don't forget that one's plain girl is another's hottie. Some men prefer the shy girls, some like 'em bold, some like 'em skinny, some like 'em curvy, some find smoking hot, others find smoking a turn off, some like classy wear, some like hippie wear, some are especially attracted to younger while others are intrigued by older, and so on. And then there's the irony factor, some really go for it. I'm thinking mostly of personality (like guys who treat women like ****** because he wants a woman to put him in his place and despises the women who go along with it to women who play stupid head games with men because she secretly desires an alpha male to "not take her crap" and put her in her place and despises the men who let her get away with her head games) but also sexually. For example, some men (certainly not all) will find himself much more sexually attracted to a well-covered woman who accidentally (say by wind or accidental tear) exposes flesh she was trying to cover while brazen strippers leave him cold (of course other men prefer the strippers and would find the woman trying to cover herself a contemptible prude). re - what you said about women feeling as though they are not beautiful (Venus) ..
This goes for everyone. Obviously if a person does not like their body, if they have body-issues - they are not happy in their own skin and they simply don't like what they see when they look in the mirror - this will affect the way they interact with the opposite sex.... so they can be shy, reluctant, scared of rejection and so on.It's completely irrespective of gender though ^ IP: Logged |
