Would it make sense if, in relational astrology, we identified most with our ruling planet in ANOTHER person's chart?Just a teeny-tiny theory - feel free to discuss, back it up, or debunk it. Just wanna know if this has proved true in any cases. Ex. Gemini rising person x person with Gemini mercury Or any other sign on that planet. ? IP: Logged |

So for my Libra Rising ---- man with Venus in Taurus/ Libra? I react well to Libra Venus, especially if conjuncting my Asc. Haven't had much experience with Taurus Venuses... In general,I don't go for exquisite Venusians - I rather act out Venus myself : angular MC Venus (one of the reasons I don't like Mars conj Venus). I do find them very attractive, but I need a man that relates to my Sun and Mars (Sun trines Uranus, and Mars is angular too,on Dsc). IP: Logged |

Yeah, exactly right actually.I found, after indulging in that thought, in my closest relationships, I have planets in signs matching the others ascendant. And in reverse - with my mom and I (we're super close) I'm an Aries rising, and her MARS is in Aries. Go figure. IP: Logged |

VenusDiSirius, your Virgo Mercury + my Virgo Rising seems to hold up to this theory. IP: Logged | |
