Casanova had the Sun in Aries - but for some reason Geminis are described in same way (and apparently that's why they're so hated) - maybe he had Gemini ASC - can't say for sure... all i know is that - i can't brag as being a true Gemini.. 1) I have no idea what life was like in 1950 because I wasn't even born yet
2) it's not so much protecting them as respecting them
