Please share, if you have this. For myself, I count a Sun which is within 10 degrees conjunct the ASC to be a 1st House planet, not a 12th House. If your Sun is within this orb, would you please add that, for me. Thanks in advance!

Not to confuse this thread, as I am forcing myself to be more organized, but would Moon in the 12th be a hard relationship with the mother, in the same way, that Sun in the 12th, seems to be a hard relationship with the father?I will start a new thread on this. ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Sun in gemini 12th house here. I didn't have my father very long. He died when I was 4 from suicide. We do however still have a bond. I feel him and his love and I know when he is around me. I once read in our synastry chart that we would have a bond even beyond this world.IP: Logged |

I am sorry, dear one. I lost someone to suicide, as well. Blessings to you ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

My n.Sun is 26 degrees Aries, and my ASC is 6 degrees Taurus. Quite frankly, my father showed absolutely no interest in me whatsoever. We never did anything together. He barely spoke to me while growing up. However, in a weird way, I didn't mind. Or I should say, I don't mind at all now. Growing up it was kind of rough. It seemed that he only yelled at me, and nothing else. Now, I kind of like that he gave me a lot of space, and I do think he actually cared more than my mother. He was by far less nagging and harping on me every second the way she was. He just didn't seem to get it that he spent no time with me at all. IP: Logged |

I just checked my 4 year old daughters synastry with her dad.Her sun is in his 12th house. That explains a lot. He hasn't seen her in 8 months. Just stopped. She's always been his secret child. He use to be a good dad. I think he's definitely gone for good now
Her sun is in gemini 25 degrees and her asc is sagittarius 4 degrees. She has her moon in scorpio in the 12th house. Her father is a scorpio

...another sister - yay!^^ - that's ok to... Ami Anne is another Gemini sister with 12H Sun. - well, my father was born in 15 May - and just wanted to know if he falls under the influence of Algol... maybe a victim like those born in 14 -> 18 August, 14 -> 18 February, 14 -> 18 November... or an ally like those born in 14 -> 18 September and 14 -> 18 January ... wile 14 - 18 May is in top of the list as executioner - but this goes both ways... - my father is still alive - and i don't wish him death or anything like that ... i still believe that - "he's not really a bad man (didn't abuse any member of my family in a physical way)" - not a good father either, but i've seen worst to fit this spot - except for his Algolian influence which made/makes him behave like - a Nazi sometimes... where me and my mom were the Jews... but mostly from a psychological point of view... I know someone close to me with a 12th house Sun, but theirs is conjunct Jupiter tightly, less than 1 dg. orb... so perhaps this lessens the effect of abandonment with the dad, or his dad not being really present, a little bit. I know that he has had issues with his dad. His Sun squares his Scorpio Moon as well. His dad is a Scorpio which seems to intensify the effect that maybe because of his dad, he has had to push away his true emotions? I also feel this placement shows that his dad has been very moody and unstable in his life... his dad has been a consistent provider but emotionally he is just so up and down. It's saddening to me to see that many people on this thread with 12H Sun experiences have seen abandonment. I am very sorry for you all. I have also had difficult times with my dad. He didn't abandon me but just didn't know about me and made half hearted attempts after he got to know me to really be a dad and always failed. Appropriately, my Sun has 0 aspects to it, showing an unsupportive father. I almost feel it would make more sense to have a 12H Sun, but I do have 12H Pluto.... anyway I hope everyone with a 12H Sun and similar situations to ours can recover one day. IP: Logged |

I have my Sag Sun on the cusp of the 12th/1st, conj my Asc at 15*, Neptune 17*, and Mercury at 11*. My Sun also squares my Moon at an orb of 7*, and there is a sign opposition between the Moon and Saturn (11* orb). I have never met my biological father, as the circumstances are very negative. He was my mother's brother in law and more than two decades older. The drama surrounding his incestful seduction of her while being married to her sibling was/is a deep familial wound. My mother refuses to this date to speak very little of him, and he has never sought me out. I have not sought him out as he was never in my life, and to me my father who raised me is my true father. I am curious as to his birthdate for astrological purposes, and wish to ask around for it form my halfsiblings, but am afraid as he returned to his spouse and is still in a sense part of the extended family. He and the extended family live abroad, therefore keeping him out of my life has been an easy task. I didn't know the story until my early teens, and was very traumatized and sad over it for years after, as it felt my world collapsed to know my father was not my father. I felt robbed of my identity fell apart, my beloved family decieved me. I withdrew from my family for a few years, and it took a lot to come to terms with the deception. It hurt not that I was different from my siblings, but that my mother lied to me for years and that I learned the truth through a third party instead of her. Now my father who raised me, is my beloved father and my hero. He was very strict and disciplined very hard, almost on border of physical abuse. He was very domineering, and controlling to the point that I left our home at a young age rather than to continue living under that repression. In spite of this, I do feel he is a good dad and did what he was taught to do. He has changed a lot since those days, and I hold him no resent. He did much to provide for us and teach us wrong from right, and I've always been closer to him than my mother. In the hardest times of my life, my father has been the one to be there for me, when others including my mother were not. To summarize, I feel my Sun placement reflects the origins of my birth and not so much my actual father figure. Interestingly, my sibling also has this placement and is our father's favorite. The placement does ring true in that my sibling is in a career with working with institutions and patients. IP: Logged |

I've noticed that in *most* of the charts I've read, people with a 12th house Sun usually lose (through death or abandonment for some reason) one or both parents at an early age or are raised by other family members (grandparent, aunt, etc) or are adopted. I think if the Sun is in H12 and makes a hard aspect to Mars, Saturn, Uranus or Pluto then that hard aspect can clarify the situation based on both planet and the house in which it resides. My Sun is at 24 degrees Taurus and my ASC is at 25 degrees Taurus. Despite being closely conjunct, I associate myself more with the twelfth house, especially since I have a Pisces moon.My Sun also squares Saturn, so my dad definitely is a significant force in my life. He never completely abandoned my siblings and me, though there was one time where he briefly left us because of my mom. That experience was probably one of the most traumatic. It's a tough memory, one that I can't fully recall, because I've repressed it. Anyways, he's still in my life, but I know that experience still has a strong impact subconsciously. Oh, the twelfth house... IP: Logged |

...mine is in Gemini, if you're not so sure of your NN meaning - here - check this ebook (best around in terms of NN/SN and House placements): www.godthearchitect.com/ebook/Nodes-Sign-House-Aspect.pdf - and i recommend "Martin Schulman" interpretations... you don't have to read it all - only what interests, easier to find by subject:
Natal North Node in Cancer / South in Capricorn Natal North Node in 12th / South in 6th IP: Logged |
