I was reading a horoscope recently and it mentioned decans. I am a little confused because I noticed my birthdate, on various sites, had been listed in a different decan.

I was born may 1st at 11'29 degrees..one site had may 1st as decan 1 another had may 1st as decan 2.

I read that it is the first 10 degrees with a sign is first decan? Which is right?

Thats my understanding also.

0-10= 1st decan
11-20 2nd decan
21-30 3rd Decan

There is also duads, which I think but not sure that it changes somewhere between every 3-5 orbs
