i don't think i'm doing this right. i mean, it sounds simple enough. it's just when i draw out the dispositor tree, the diagram doesn't look right because it doesn't involve the rest of my planets. it kind of gets stuck at my sun, moon, mars, pluto, and chiron. could anyone provide any input?

i'm learning from this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_K_nlZi7FeA

sun - scorpio
moon - scorpio
mercury - sagittarius
venus - virgo
mars - scorpio
jupiter - virgo
saturn - aquarius
uranus - capricorn
neptune - capricorn
pluto - scorpio
chiron - leo

ah. you can have different dispositor trees. i wondered why those charts in that video had every planet fall under one dispositor and mine did not. i wasn't aware that not having a sole dispositor is normal before posting.

that damn merc of mine.

There are different possibilities.

You can have one end dispositor, and every other planets falls under it.

You can have a mutual reception with planets grouped there.

You can have several planets talking to each other (a committee).

And you can have different dispositor trees.

It also depends if you use traditional or new rulers.

Using traditional users I have two different dispositor trees.

Basically you check for

1. planets in own sign like Mars in Aries

2. planets in mutual reception like Moon in Capricorn and Saturn in Cancer

3. a circle: Mercury in Sag - Jupiter in Cap - Saturn in Gemini

And then you look what other planets "answer" to these planets. For example planets in Virgo and Gemini answer to Mercury and so on.

In my case the result is interesting, as using traditional rulers, my Moon and Venus are put into one group along with Saturn and Pluto under the head of Moon in Aquarius and Saturn in Cancer.

The other planets are all in the group with Jupiter in Pisces as the head.

Of course using new rulers it might look a bit different.

It's sign/house dispositer graph under Pullen and it's easy enough to follow.

It's basically a way of looking at where the energy finally comes out. If you imagine the planets as like a circuit board and the energy gets passed around. Any planets in the ir own sign will be the "final dispositer" and sometimes you end up with energy being bounced backwards and forwards if two planets are in mutual reception.

Go to astro.com and see if the grid helps you at all.
